I also upgraded my mac mini within a week of the download offering and had no problems.
I recently purchased an Imac desktop and the vendor downloaded Elcapitan and so far no problems. I then migrated all my programs from the Mac-mini and the transfer was complete and again no problems.
Bite the bullet and download.

If you do buy the A6000 by all means download the manual by Gary Friedman as mentioned by Chollie. It is the best without a doubt. I have the A77ii camera and the so called manual that comes with it sucks.
It will be one of the best investments you will ever make.
Take a look at the Samsung Galaxy 2. It has almost everything you want and it will fit in your pocket. If yu have a Costco store nearby you view it and get a feel for it.

Thanks, Jim, I'm finding difficult to get some good glass without spending big bucks for Sony"s high end glass.
I did go to Lens Rental and tried their Sony Zeiss 16-80 f/3.5-4.5 for six days and did some comparison shots and found very little if no differences. Not worth the additional costs over my current lens.
