just sold my 16-50, only thing i have left is
16mm f/2.8, very compact and much sharper and faster than wide end of 16-50, with petal hood,
Ultra-wide adapter fits on above lens, wonderful combination of lenses, asking 250.00 but not firm

Many improvements and more options. Peaking, faster AF, mutli- frame auto ISO to mention few.
As to the original question, the 16-50 is a great lens, however even used ones carry a hefty price.

I believe that was the "kit" lens that came with my A77. It may be a 16-55 f2.8

The 16-55 may not be right but I know it was F2.8. The lens is one of the best kit lenses I've ever heard of.

at the time I think it was one of the best deals for a camera and kit lens. I don't think I've ever saw a kit lens that fast.
