My 85 year old Mother in Law has just got a new computer and as she is not very computer literate I would be grateful if anyone knows of a very simple and easy editing program, the main thing she wants to do is to crop and print, she wanted a new printer and when I turned the computer on it came up with every out of date and messages saying that the system did not support loads of things and they could not be updated, hence the new one.... I know about picasso but wondered if there are any more....

Assuming you mean crop & print photographs, Nikon has free editing software called ViewNX 2 that you can download. It allows for freeform cropping. Good luck!

It works with raw & jpg, at least. I assume CR2 is raw. There are more features for editing raw files. Try it out! It's free, and a file is a file, right? The worst that can happen is you delete it.

What about Windows photo gallery? It's already on the pc. I use it sometimes even though I have Photoshop Elements.
