Help me choose a new camera

I need help choosing a new camera. I shot a lot of film in the 60s & 70s, used small digital in the 90s and didn't like it, and have been using a Canon 60D in recent years. I like the capabilities of the camera & lenses, but I also want the share-ability of my iPhone. I would like to be able to wirelessly share my photos with my children and friends when I am on my sailboat or in Europe. I would also like to print decent pictures, but don't ever anticipate making a poster. My ideal camera would have the wireless capability of an iPhone, have a large range from wide angle to telephoto, be small enough to almost fit in a pocket, and not cost an arm and a leg. Does this camera exist? Thanks, Rich

You might take a look at the new Samsung NX mini. Looks like it would pretty easily fit in your pocket with the standard 9mm lens. CMOS sensor (should print 16x20) & built in Wi-fi.... Uses all the Samsung NX lenses.....

Or the new Samsung NX 500. Larger than NX mini but still only 10 ounces. APS-C sensor and 4K video. $800 with 15-50mm kit lens included.

Take a look at the Panasonic ZS40 or the new ZS50. It's the closest to what you want that I can think of. It has a small 1/2.3 inch sensor, but if you want a long zoom in a pocket size camera you need a small sensor.

Get a canon that takes your lenses and has wifi capability. Look at their ads.

Do you travel with your laptop or ipad (or similar)? It you have a mail program with you, you can always share your images with email. That's what I do when I'm traveling.

Take a look at the Samsung Galaxy 2. It has almost everything you want and it will fit in your pocket. If yu have a Costco store nearby you view it and get a feel for it.

Check out DP preview for their evaluation.

Do you have an iPhone? If so I find the olympus app to very handy. You can get wifi on the em1 em10 em5ii and elp7 models.

The Sony a6000 seems to be getting a lot of rave reviews here. The lenses for it are also excellent. Plus, you can use all your Canon glass and it'll do all the things you're asking for plus more. The nice thing is that you still have an APS-C sensor as well.

If i were just starting to buy equipment I would for sure buy a Nikon D5300 or Nikon D5500. Both are light, dependable, and reasonably priced.
