OP wants something less bulky and heavy than APS-C of FF. Plus very few of those have the features he wants, and none of them have all of them, like the OM-1 does.

And m4/3 has come a long way, baby! If you can't get great images from an OM-1, it's not the camera...

OM-1 is a great camera, I agree. Very few ILC cameras has built-in BD filter, Live Composite, IP53 certified weather sealing, excellent IS etc. but on the other hand it only has a 20MP tiny MFT sensor. High ISO is no match with larger sensors.

MFT came a long way except the image quality, and the OP is asking if he is going to see a big improvement in IQ, and my opinion is 'No, he won't see much improvement'.

Very few people have the Q3 in hand yet so hard to compare but it will most probably be much better than the X100V JPEGS thanks to the 61MP resolution, larger sensor and a great lens. X100V is no slouch but a not a match to Q3 either.

Here is a comparison in case you want to see all the differences:

You wont see a big improvement with OM-1's MFT sensor compared to RX10's 1-inch sensor, high ISO is average at best. At least go for an APS-C or Full Frame sensor camera. I used Olympus and Panasonic MFT's hated the image quality.

Take both! You will need a back up anyway. But if I need to choose only one, will go for the A6000 - 18-135mm combo for sure.

There is a size comparison of Nikon Z8 with Sony A7R Mark V with the lenses here, Sony with the lenses has even bigger size advantage:

Suggestions for wide angle 10 - 24 2.8 or prime

There are more than 40 lenses that meets these criterias, can you be more specific?
prime or zoom? weather sealed or not? etc.. and what your budget is.

Nikon 14-24mm f2.8G ED is my favourite but it is big and heavy. Here are the options you may want to look.

I have a Nikon Z6 with X24-70S and a DX50-250, as well as a few earlier Nikon lenses.
Additionally have a Fuji T-30 with 18-135 and 18-55 lenses. Am considering replacing the Fuji
equipment and buying the Nikon Z50 as my smaller camera, and concentrating on Nikon.
Would appreciate any and all comments, suggestions and advice. Thanks for your help.

They are similar specces cameras, I understand your logic to concentrate on a mount for convenience but my personal preference is to keep at least 2 different mount cameras (because I am a gear head lol) and have best of both worlds. Here is a comparison I like:

Hi, my name is Charlotte and I used to have a Minolta D400 decades ago. I loved that camera and I used to take tons of amazing pictures with it. But, now there's so much on the market with lots of options, features and higher prices, I don't know what to tell my mom to buy me more my birthday in two weeks.

One of the web sites that you may want to start with is https://cameradecision.com, I love their comparison feature, it is brief and to the point, makes the decision process easier. I would start with a mirrorless instead of dslr though.

I like this site's comparisons too, it is spec based but still very useful. D500 is clearly the better camera, Canon lovers have to wait for 7D Mark III.

I'll give my standard answer, although I see you've read comparisons. Maybe there will be something here of value.

I can't see any major reason for choosing Nex-7 over A6000 other than price. A6000 AF is faster, iq is better and more. I find this comparison site very helpful:

No, D810 will not give you any significant advantage, and will not make you a better photographer. Instead of a new camera, invest in photography books, photography courses or equipment like new lenses or a very good tripod. D600 will not be a constraint for your photography for a long time, believe me.

Between T5i (700D) and D3300, I would go with the D3300, it tops T5i especially in the image quality area. On the other hand T5i has a touch and articulating screen which is very tempting. Check this comparison:

http://cameradecision.com/compare/Canon-EOS-700D-vs-Nikon-D3300

And between Canon 70D and Nikon D7100, they are also very close, 70D has more features but D7100 has better Image quality, I would choose D7100 since IQ is more importat for me:

You will not get a big advantage if you change to D5200, slightly better image quality and High ISO performance but not huge, (and better focus and tilting screen ) see here:

http://cameradecision.com/compare/Nikon-D3200-vs-Nikon-D5200

I think what you need is better lenses, invest in lenses instead of bodies.

And practice changing lenses faster, I am serious, this is also a skill that a photographer has to master.

By the way I used to live in Istanbul, what a beatiful city!

Panasonic LX100, SOny RX100 III and Canon G7 X are the cameras that you are looking for, don't know why people keep on recommending interchangeable lens cameras, what you need is a small size relatively simple tool with good image quality.
My choice of the three is Sony RX100 III by the way.

Two main alternatives are Sony A77 Mark II and Pentax K-3 in my opinion. K-3 is very underrated, don't know why, that is one hell of a camera. Well add the Nikon D7100 also. Well if you are invested in Canon lenses, go for the 7D M2 anyway, you just lose too much selling lenses.
