Yes it is, thanks Rix. I've had no problems with it.
Get ready to take beautiful fall pictures with a Canon Rebel T2i. I am selling my T2i and 18-55mm lens, extra battery and charger, and neck strap for $325. It only has 6,007 shutter clicks. -- SOLD
Thanks for the info fantom. I'll let you know if I experience the same problem with my Tamron lens.

The 70D will take any EF lens made by Canon and any competitive lens with an EF mount. The EFS designation is actually EF-S, indicating that it is an EF mount with the S (which I think stands for short) indicating that it will only work on crop sensor Canons, such as the T2i and 70D.
I went from the T3i to the 70D and not long afterwards sold that and got a 6D. The 70D is a fine camera, but if you are even thinking about going to full frame at some point, now would be the time to give it some serious thought. I could have saved time and money by skipping the 70D and going straight to the 6D. Your EF-S lenses will not work on a full frame Canon though. I sold mine right here on the Hog.

And thank you too, LFingar
I have a T2i with the 18-55 kit lens. Since then I have added an EFS 10-22mm wide angle and a Tamron 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 zoom. Any issues using these lenses with a 70D?
Well, I braved our -9 temperature here in sunny Minnesota to take a few picts from my snowy deck. Tonight it gets much worse, -20 with wind chills of -45. Schools here are closed tomorrow.
I did not read the book, but did watch all the episodes on Monday nights. Yes, there are a couple of episodes when you may ask yourself, "why am I still watching this," but all in all it actually was pretty good. The last couple of shows do address the dome and why it's there and who doesn't want it to go away. Looking forward to next year.
If you want to get involved in a couple of very good shows, watch "Suits" or "Justified."
Omg, I thought it was pretty funny. I was laughing out loud the second I read the punch line. I can't believe the negativity to this joke. And that's what it is, a j-o-k-e!
Tschmath and others who find it's offensive need to lighten up a bit.
TchrBill, I couldn't agree with you more. When the yellow came out with only 3 or 4 laps to go, I was yelling at the TV because the race wasn't going to end with an exciting 200mph finish. Hate the rule.
At least NASCAR gives them, I believe, 2 chances to win the race under green before going to a yellow/checker finish.
I'm sure support for Win7 will be around for a while. XP support is supposed to end in April 2014.
Just this morning we had flurries here in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis. Not ready for it at all.

I live in Maple Grove, the two water picts were taken at a park off Fernbrook Lane.
