I would get the Z6 or Z7 instead of the D750, the new lenses are better and she can still use F-mount glass also.

I don't trust them from sad experience. I bought a brand-new a6000 from a reputable big box store, back when it cost almost $1k. Sent it back to Sony 4 times in the first year, still wasn't working correctly (after they replaced the shutter system TWICE). Had to kick and scream before they would replace it. The replacement, which they insisted was a brand-new a6300 didn't work right out of the box. Sent it back and will never ever
buy a Sony product again.

I hope you don't, either.

Sorry to here that story. After 35 years with Nikon I sold most of my Nikon collection and switched to Sony, after 5 months now it has been fantastic, luv the autofocus, it’s light years ahead of Nikons.

I have the A9 with 2 adapted Canon mount lenses and they work great with the Sigma MC-11. I tested the Canon 100-400 ver. II, it was very good on the A9 & A7R IV but I ended up getting the Sony 100-400 GM. It has become my favorite walk around lens.

Thanks Dennis--you may have just answered my unstated question in my response to an earlier post about ff vs crop. I'll be looking at the Sony 200-600.

You’re welcome, this is one of the first lenses I bought when I switched to Sony, it is also noticeably lighter than the Nikon 200-500 I was using. There are plenty of tests and reviews on YouTube for it.

Just sent it to them. If they low ball me I will have them send it back, but I don't think they will since it looks new with less then 400 clicks.

If you are honest and realistic about the condition of the equipment they will pay exactly what the quote is.

Forgot a piece of information the lens is an A mount. Also the Sony lenses are extremely expensive. Thank you for your help

The MC-11 is available for the Sigma SA mount.

The Sigma MC-11 adapter is best for Sigma lenses but check Sigma’s site to make sure it is compatible with that lens. BTW if you want the best of the best in long zoom lenses the Sony 200-600 is an amazing lens, very sharp, stabilized and super fast auto focus.

I will continue to sell off Ebay, where I make about 60-80% more than trading it in. It is my equipment, and I will continue to get a higher return from it by doing it myself. Ebay is safe and the buyer is protected. I have a very high rating and my customers are very pleased with the equipment that they buy from me.
Like the old ad says, "you can throw your money away, or keep it, it is up to you."

You will not get 60% more from EBay than MPB after to subtract the EBay and PayPal fees, plus the fake bidders on some auctions that will never pay. I sold over $10,000 of Nikon gear to MPB when I switched to Sony. It would have taken me over a year to sell it on EBay.

When you give them your account and routing number they can only deposit money not withdraw it. I wondered about that too.

I purchased 2 lenses from them recently, 1 new and 1 used. They shipped them to California and did not charge me sales tax. They have now become my first choice for gear. The only thing I don’t like is that they do not show the actual item on their website in the used section, they show the manufacturers stock photo.

what would be plan B. Adobe Premier has a slide option, but only up to 250 images...I have 650 plus some mp4 videos. What software would you suggest?

There is no limit on the number of still images you can import into Premiere Pro.

I had a 3880 that did the same thing. The cost of the repair is equal to a new printer plus with the new printer you will get a full load of ink.

You can still get Adobe Encore CS6 if you subscribe to the Adobe CC. It’s the best if you need to make slick menus and it produces discs that play in practically any player.
