MPB offered $143 more then KEH for my camera. If anyone on here is thinking to sell their gear this way you should check them out

I recently traded-in a substantial amount of gear. KEH was the lowest bid, MPB was the middle bid but was unwilling to bid on all items, B&H was the highest bid but my local camera store beat them all and got the gear.

Agree about MPB. I sold a couple Nikkor lenses to them for possibly more than I would have received on eBay. MPB payed for the shipping and were very quick (one day) after receiving the package to check it and forward the $$$ to my bank. Absolutely no hassle. I'll use them again.

Yes, that's the thing, they will send to your bank and want the routing info.
My wife was leery about that part, so they just sent me a check.

Giving someone routing and account numbers doesn't in any way allow someone to withdraw from that account; all they can do is send $$$ to it, and very quickly. If you want a check, MPB will happily accommodate you, it will just take several more days to get your cash.

In my recent experience I’ve found better prices at MPB. I bought a Nikon 24-40 f4 Z mount lens in like new condition for $569. KEH wanted $658 for Excellent+. Even with their 10% off promotion it was more. I’m currently waiting on a Nikon 200-500 in like new that not only had a great price, but they gave me more than expected in trade for my non-G2 Tamron 150-600

I will continue to sell off Ebay, where I make about 60-80% more than trading it in. It is my equipment, and I will continue to get a higher return from it by doing it myself. Ebay is safe and the buyer is protected. I have a very high rating and my customers are very pleased with the equipment that they buy from me.
