After seeking Bill De's advice I ordered my Nikon Z50 with a lens kit. Yesterday I took several pictures, you could see the stitching on the flag.

The camera is lightweight and fun to shoot.

Thanks for your advice Bill.

Very nice!

Sorry don't know, I do not have LR, only PS and Bridge (and in Bridge, all I have to do is click on "open image" and I'm in Photoshop)!

If you are paying $9.99 monthly you have LR CC. Go to you adobe account and you can download it. Although, Bridge does pretty much the same things.

I just bought a 25 Dell Ultrasharp today. It should work on the Acer no problem. Asked about the MacBook as a backup option if the Acer won’t drive it. Thanks.

I believe you will enjoy it. Great value monitor. I set mine to 1980x1240 to accommodate my eyes!

It will work. I use a 25” ultra sharp dell with a 2015 MBP and it works well. One downside is that I must use a xrite display 1 device to calibrate it. Others don’t work. Your video card is a limitation. Why can’t you use the much newer Acer?

I just went to their website and they don’t offer a Mac version. Sigh, it looked great.

Google Qimage for Mac. It is written by a different company but models a lot of the windows version. Works great.

Have used both. The 18-5.6 is overall superior. Somewhat heavier but doesn’t seem to have the ‘breathing’ issues to the extent of the 6.3 version. Resolution is better. You might also consider the 18-200 3.5-5.6 if the 300 reach is not a deal breaker. It is the best of both.
