Anyone know of remote shutter control for Sony mirrorless cameras?
Which one, A6xxx or A7xx series?
I have a Foto & Tech remote. Works for all A6xxx and A7xx series. It $9.99 at Amazon. It’s an IR remote.
There are several other corded remotes at various prices, with varying features. The Foto & Tech remote is a simple shutter release.
This Sony IR model RMT-DSLR2 works on all 4 Sony cameras all in the A6XXX group.
B&H has them and I bought one but haven't used it yet. Cheap enough.
You can use your phone through their image app, very easy
Get the Sony remotes that also control video and video zoom

A smart phone and Sony app
I use 10 sec timed exposure to help with low light shots
I have been using Vello FreeWave 0618 radio control for my Sony a6000.
I receive an Aodelan WTR-2 Wireless Timer Remote Shutter Release as a Christmas present. It ntonly is a remote shutter release but also a timer. Usable for star trails (It will, for example) take a 30 second exposure every 31 seconds for 199 consecutive unattended photos.
