Follow Flip's advice. Slide small lock/unlock button with red dot on the aperture dial and turn aperture to 22(yellow number). Lock aperture dial. That lens and your D7000 should work perfectly.
She must have had a point and shoot. He would have been very saddened if she was using a Full Frame....
Thank you but I picked up a Nikon model.
Cheers
Don, are you saying your Post was a Mistake or purchasing that lens is a mistake?
FOUND IT..Have purchased used from B&H, Adorama, EBay, etc. but was hoping a member may have this lens for sale. Please PM me if you have a good condition, reasonably priced, totally working version of this lens. Located in Richmond, VA. Thanks.
Welcome to UHH from your neighbor in Short Pump.
Jerry I DO remember the good old days. Even "Upgraded" to a Flash Cube for faster shooting......
When set in Commander Mode the D7000 allows 2 seperate groups of off camera flashes to be used A & B. My SB-600 appears to allow Wireless multiple flash shooting for 3 groups A,B and C. Page 58 of the SB-600 manual. I may have answered my own question but is the example in the manual of A,B and C just for illistrative purposes as flash groups would be set to the same Channel and I guess the choices per group could only be Manual or TTL? Just having brain freeze. Camera 2 Groups, SB-600 3 Groups? Any clarification would be appreciated.
Will be visiting NYC in a few weeks and will only have about 2 hours to explore one of these stores. I have purchased from both and their customer service, selection and pricing is outstanding. Familiar with their Friday and Saturday hours and July 16th is a religous holiday. Any recommendations if I can only visit ONE store? Thanks.
Thanks Dpullum, looks like the key chain rings should work perfectly.
Dpullum, Allen Co strap looks like it should do the job but does it clip on directly to camera? I have the D3100 and threading the Nikon strap through the small eyelets was very difficult. Anyone use this strap on a D3100or D40? Thanks.
John D. Rockefeller was once asked " How much money is enough?" His reply, "Just a little bit more". Same question may apply to "How many lenses...?" "How many cameras?" Does not answer your question but I think Rockefeller's reply may apply to photography.
I have read the many post here on UHH, Googled, searched YouTube, etc. and it certainly appears that PP routines seem to be a matter of personal preference. I am looking at post processing only about 25 shots taken with my D3100 and will be using PSE10. Normal issues with White Balance, Exposure, skin tones, etc. These pictures wil not be printed so a relatively quick and dirty process will work for now. Since I am new to Raw and PP my goal is to develop my own routine or say protocol for more refined work in the future. TIA.
Not totally related but funny. We were taking a tour of Windsor Castle and noticed huge Jumbo jets taking off from Heathrow and flying directly over the castle. One tourist, American I am afraid, asked "Why did they build the castle so close to the airport?" True story.
