A couple of years ago I read that there are more pictures taken just with the iPhone than all pictures combined with every camera ever. Think about that.
I was being sarcastic - I just can't believe that in this day and age ANYONE would ask a photographer those 2 question. Hope this clears things up for you.

Yes, it is true, phones take more images than cameras do . . .

Taking photos of family, family occasions and taking a vacation memories is obvious. Sharing them with family and friends is also expected.
I enjoy traveling to do Landscapes, wild animals and nature. People ask me why do I go and do that? I answer is is passion and I enjoy it.
They follow up with a question what do you do with them? I answer I enjoy looking at them and put them on a website for friends who ask to go look at them.
That got my interest up about the UHH. Why do you take Photos and What do you do with them?

Yesterday I purchased a little Canon PIXMA printer, with cartridges, for $34 plus change at my local Walmart. In the next aisle they sold various printer cartridges. The two cartridges for this printer would have totaled $40 plus change. Who wudda known? I don't know if this is an issue for high end printers or not because I have prints made commercially.

I believe you can "line out" the items that you don't agree with just like the president can line out items in a bill that he does not want to become law...look into that . . .

I believe you can "line out" what you don't want to agree to just as you can on the offer to buy a house or like the President lines out items in a bill that he does not want to become law.

I downloaded Windows 10 to my desktop and found that Lightroom barely worked afterwards. Nothing but fits and starts and long delays. So I reverted back to Windows 7, which you can do easily thanks to Microsoft in Windows 10, and Lightroom rocked again. Anybody else have this kind of experience with Lightroom or Photoshop? Is Windows 10 really this bad for photography work or is it just my computer?

I have heard and read too many bad things about Windows 10 and I will not use it. Windows is trying to give me a free upgrade...but NO WAY!!!

I received an email from Nikon today and they offered to do a maintenance tune-up and cleaning on my 7100. With the offer was the necessary paperwork and label to ship it to their service center in NY. They will do this free and pay for 2nd day shipment cost both ways through UPS. A six day business turn around is stated in there offer.
I packaged up my 7100 and took it to the local UPS store. I removed the lens, battery and cards as per the instructions. I marked my calendar for next Wednesday to check on it. I never had an offer for my other Nikons, a D300 and a D3200.

Has anyone had any experience with "123Inkjet" replacement inks? They sell both the OEM replacement as well as "compatible" inks. There is a significant cost savings with the "compatible" versions. Any experience with this company and their replacement inks?

Thanks,

Trent

Don't scrimp on inks, you will regret it in the long run. I only use Epson inks in my Epson printer, but there are places that sell them at a discount. ATLEX is one such place ...www.Atlex.com

Just got a new softbox, haven't had a change to use it yet, but was wondering if anyone has any experience with this one. ItÂ’s a 32" octagon umbrella softbox with dual flash bracket. It's made by Fotodiox and was $39.95 on Amazon. So far I'm impressed with the quality. I'm using two Godox V850 speedlites in it. With an ISO of 100 and with both speedlites at full power it measured f/18 without the diffuser and f/11 with the diffuser at a distance of 5 feet. With the Godox radio trigger I can adjust the power of the speedlites with the diffuser in place.

It has been my experience with the cheaper soft boxes and umbrellas, time is the real test...i.e. will the stitching hold or will the fabric tear
