They called his character "Special Agent Tony DiNozzo." Everyone knows it's "Very Special Agent Tony DiNozzo." I wonder if they'll kill him off.

I love the show, my wife and I never miss an episode, although I must admit that I wasn't too crazy about that character.

Tony is a special element of the show. I felt the same way when they took away Ziva David. She was a class act.

Sorry to see him leave the show. Hopefully the character interaction with his replacement will not change the dynamic of the show. I didn't like Ziva's replacement at first but now Bishop has become a mainstream character I think.

DiNozzo will be missed, that said they have an opportunity to write in a strong replacement and the producers to cast a suitable actor. The change could be a shot in the arm or a decline. It's really up to the producers to make it happen. I didn't want to see a change but, at the same time, the adolescent side of DiNozzo has been wearing thin for several years, the actor is 47 and the shoes just don't fit the same.
