Look into DROBOWorks solutions, not cheap, but effective.

It is worth it, perhaps just for the apparent clean-up it does to the images alone...
but, definitely a processing hit to your computer as was stated by dfrodin.

I'm gonna say it's real, I can see the the slight distortions in the small ripples on the water, which would be very hard to fake, convincingly at least. If it's not real, then congrats on the perfectly executed post fix-up job!!!

If you can see the colors changing before your eyes, then that's a voltage issue within the monitor and no degree of calibration will solve that issue. IMHO... it's wiser to save up for a new monitor.

I've tried several places that say they make puzzles out of your photo, only to be disappointed with flimsy pieces. Anyone know where to get real puzzles made from your photos?

Be advised that Topaz is no longer free upgrades for life, but now charges for yearly upgrades...

If it's been awhile since you last tried it, Topaz has updated this and many other of their programs a few times since their initial release. I'll leave it to you to see if in your opinion they've improved, but perhaps you should retry.

Hello!

I’m heading to Switzerland....

You will love everything about that country, the views, the great food, the cleanliness of the cities and best of all, the very, very friendly people. BTW, most people there speak English or at least will try to help you with any questions about what to do while your there, they love their country and take great pride in it, something you will miss when you come back here.

Actually the Apple operating system was created on the back of UNIX and is a much more complex system than Windows which was created on the back of DOS (for Microsoft version). If you go into the heart of the Apple operating system you will go into the LIBRARY which is quite complex and if you don't know what you are doing you can crash your computer, that is why Apple tends to hide it from their clients. By the way I use both Windows and Mac OS. My main programming career has been with IBM, Windows and UNIX.

Don't expect that most Windows people will ever understand.

Actually, it's quite easy to do this if you have a Mac Computer and some color calibration hardware ( I use ColorMunki ), just give the two generated ICC profiles different names, you can then switch between them by using System Preferences, Display, Color. Sorry but I don't know the latest comparable commands on Windows, but I'm pretty sure they must exist.

Amazing how many super sleuths noticed the 't' in 'there', but not the 'i' in 'of'...

Ok, here is the scoop from what I see....

Currently I am running an iMAC, High Sierra with Lightroom Classic CC 7.2...

OK, I ejected the external drive, disconnected the drive, reconnnected the drive, rebooted and NOW is WORKING, obviously NOT a LR issue...
Sorry for my information possibly leading anyone astray...

Images and catalog are two different things, and I am not confirming a catalog cannot remain on an external drive as it has, before assuming and spreading, it might be wise to CONFIRM.

Of course I would agree that it's always best to COMFIRM... Only offered as what my results were after updating, and the error message itself stated it was not allowed.

Using High Sierra and latest updates of LR and PS and unless something else has unknowingly changed on my system, the latest Lightroom update no longer allows access to catalog files (.lrcat) that reside on external/removable drives.

It appears that Adobe changed the name of Lightroom in this last update to "Lightroom Classic" with a second Cloud based version called "Lightroom CC". I have seen many people touting the death of Lightroom today and in a tizzy as to what program to use in it's place, but I believe all thats changed is the name/names, Perhaps it's the support of the standalone version that is done, but that been rumored for some time and really should not be a surprise.
