I've tried several places that say they make puzzles out of your photo, only to be disappointed with flimsy pieces. Anyone know where to get real puzzles made from your photos?

My apologies! The website is obsolete; provider has just failed to "take it down." Puzzles are $69 (will usually include shipping in continental US). I use 1/4" five-ply plywood to create lasting "heritage" puzzles, approximately 8.5 x 11" with 125-135 intricately interlocking pieces. Call, write, or email me if I can help you.

The only one I have tried so far is Shutterfly. I ordered two 1000-piece puzzles (actually 1014 pieces). Sadly, one was missing 6 pieces and the other was missing 4 pieces. They gave me credit and I ordered two more 1000-piece puzzles to replace them. Sadly, one was missing 3 pieces and one was missing 7 pieces. They gave me credit again but I have not used it yet. I was so disappointed in Shutterfly that I have not tried the others, and I moved on from wanting to create puzzles for my Clients to creating posters, tiles, calendars, and other stuff. I'll probably get back to puzzles in a couple of months, but I am giving up on 1000-piece puzzles. I'll see what happens with the 500-piece puzzles.

I've had several made by collage.com and was always pleased with the results. They come in a nice box, showing the copleted piece on the lid. All the pieces always fit nicely together and the quality of the print is really good!

Liberty Puzzles are awesome...expensive since they are wood but are truly works of art. Plus, the puzzle pieces themselves are very creative shapes. We've had a formal wedding portrait turned into a puzzle and the reprint color quality was very good.

Just to see what one looks like, here's a quick snapshot of a puzzle, the box with the pieces (some on the outside) and the lid in the back showing the picture of the puzzle!
