I posed this question here the other week, I've attached the link, if he's doing a graphic arts course it is a must, I doubt if anyone will use a mouse, even if they start out with a mouse they will very quickly see around them that a tablet is the only way to go, in fact the teacher would more than likely recommend his students get one.
Priceless in his situation & the quicker he switches the better off he will be !!
Cheers!

I used to use Genuine Fractals, many years ago that worked well. I think it is now Perfect Resize !

Thank you very much, first for having a look & second for your kind words. A comment like that puts a smile on my face for the whole day.

I agree -- don't use it.

But for the usual day-to-day cleanings, you really don't even need a lens cleaning liquid. In fact, a lens cleaning liquid, if misapplied can work its way into the lens. Not a good thing.

I get rid of the loose dust and grit with a blower and, if necessary, a lens cleaning brush. Then I gently use a microfiber lens cleaning cloth for the rest. If anything is left behind, breathing on the lens and gently wiping again usually takes care of it. It's only if that doesn't get the lens clean do I resort to cleaning liquid.

I think you are spot on, I reckon all these cleaning products for lenses are severely over used just like all the other ones around the house are.
What, do people see a speck of dust on the glass & jump to the cleaning solutions to pour all over it, your just going to wear any protective coating of it faster.

This is becoming a pretty entertaining post, I think it's a great idea but trying to get through to some of these people is like talking to a brick. I mentioned the 90 macro because I find it one of the most versatile lenses you could use for this test, I could live with just that lens, obviously a great macro lens but it is also a very good portrait lens & great all rounder.
I would love to take part but unfortunately I have 2 hands & arms in plaster & traction along with many more injuries from a motorcycle accident back in July, I was air lifted to hospital & spent 10 days in ICU expected to die but I somehow came out of it & am now slowly recovering praying I will eventually be able to hold & use a camera again. my right wrist is gone so my hand is just fused to my arm with no movement so all I can do is hope.
I'm typing with one finger very slowly.
I hope you don't mind me waffling on on your post if so I apologise.
Have a good one !!!

Nikon recommends against this. Exhaled breath is not clean enough.

I thought I would look this up & I know you can't believe everything you read but this is interesting, & I am not saying you are wrong.
Cheers

I think Nikon now agrees,

Yes. The only mammal capable of free flight. Congratulations. And, yes, they are beautiful animals, although the only close shots I get are of bats in rehab or foster care.

If your interested I have a couple of Ghost Bat shots on the link below in my posts.
Warning they may not be to some peoples taste.
Cheers !

I've always just huffed warm air from my lungs on the glass & wiped dry with a lens cloth. Do you think that is ok for the glass ?

Yes, I just tried that. If it's been processed, the camera won't read it.

Don't know about 64bit but works fine in 32bit, have you gone to browse for what you want to open it with & locate the exe. file for View NX2.
