I love it , I've been trying to collect this target . The weather , bright moon and better mount is killing my chances to gather enough data. Nice stars and other galaxies Kudos Marc
I had one night with a partly clouded forecast and a cold front of low pressure was sitting right on top of me . I ran Luminance only on 5-30-19 because I wanted to get all the detail that I could gather before I was hit with the boil. I was dealing with the bright moon and humidity out the roof gathering the rgb between the clouds with a bright a-- moon {didn't even need my headlight}. I'm hoping that I can catch another couple nights before it sinks in the Big ole Oaktree. It's a work in progress , slim pickins so far this month. I just can't catch a break before Jupiter is in position to start capturing.
awesome Brian , that Sony A7 and Samyang do a stunning job . I wish I could shoot these targets but, there behind my house . Kudos fine job !
I'm glad to see you got the problem sorted and it wasn't the Baby dell , glad to see you catching photons again . I've been getting clouds and rain for the past week or maybe it's been 2 , it's been so long I forgot how to take flats HAHA! Keep them coming Sonny.
I love all the detail, you've got the right equipment there. Good work Tony
That's a set of some classy photos , Kudos Brett

Nicely done , It's like "I'm tirelessly working on my lxd55 mount ." Attempting to get the best performance out of it. Getting everything working together is a real balancing act, keep up the awesome work Marc.
You got a good test there , I'm still working on m101 if the sky would ever clear and stop crying.23 out of 50 Luminance @ 60s each is all I could grab so far shooting through clouds and holes in the clouds.Mono Cmos cameras are the real deal for capturing detail in shorter exposures Brian . I haven't had the best of luck with the weather but, hopefully you'll be able to collect all you need , I can tell the difference in the exposures between yours and mine . I'm hoping that I can finish collecting before the Pinwheel gets captured by a big ole Oak tree . Kudos
The muse is well gifted and enjoys whatever she does. I've sat back and watched the evolution and you get more CREATIVE everytime. who would think "swingin hooters"! KUDOS
I feel the same way about techy stuff. This old mount takes a lickin and keeps on tickin . I haven't really had any issues since Ed walked me through the AF setup "All is Well", guiding is doing better . I've even shot 2min. on this target without any image shift{WOOHOO}. I'm flipping and flopping every night I'm out to capture this target. Jupiter is starting to get up , about aweek or 2.
Yes , I think that's funny and thanks Sonny. We're in the "BOIL" already and my nights are plagued with heat and humidity . The pool only works for a couple minutes then the swearing begins. I've got a lil' 8" box fan but, the skeeters have nine in nails and saber teeth . The lxd55 is doing it's job , it's doing better when I run 2 channels instead of trying to do it all at once in a night. I think I may get to my quota , I need one more night of excellent stargazing but, we'll see.
Looks pretty darn good Tony .
Very nice Tony , I wish my skills were that good.
So , the weather here in the Carolinas has gone from bad to boil . That's puts a damper on my data collection for m51 , here's what I've got so far in lum 94 60s guided subs stacked and aligned . If I don't get it finished this year , there's always next year.
