Back under the stars

Hi All, I'm back after a year or so break from imagining.
House moving, family commitments etc
Here we have a selection of my latest work using the Evostar 72ED & OVL flattener.
Still using the Canon 450D astromodded & the SW Star Adventurer.

After some really frustrating evenings I have finally sorted the focus, getting the SA to balance & track (upto 90s exposures unguided) nicely.

Enjoy Marc

I've never done something even remotely close to this, so I am just a "viewer", but they are great!
Awesome work :)

I would have to definitively some day start looking into this. Although I guess I will have to create a separate budget for needed gear :-D

Thanks for sharing, I really really like them

Many thanks for kind words Juan.
Astrophotography can be frustrating & a steep learning process.

Theirs lots of people here of whom will guide and advise you should you take the slippery slope in astrophotography.

Thanks Marc!

I am aware of how helpful this community is, specially in the niche sub-sections.
For the time being, I will still have lots of improvement in my landscape and simple astrophotography (just camera and lens).
Once I am ready to take the slope I will for sure come to UHH for help/guidance :)

Now you are back, keep the good work and sharing it

Wow, take some time off and then pump out more photos than those of us who didn’t take time off have done over the last year.

Good job.

Nicely done , It's like "I'm tirelessly working on my lxd55 mount ." Attempting to get the best performance out of it. Getting everything working together is a real balancing act, keep up the awesome work Marc.
