A 4K projector is quite expensive and that's only 8MP barely good enough for an 8x10 print besides how did you print your slides? Direct positive materials have not been available for quite sometime now. The sharpness of a digital projector isn't anywhere near that of an enlarger. If you want to go that route that is printing using light sensitive material from a digital file yourself your best bet is a De Vere enlarger with the LCD but very expensive.
For practical use what's wrong with a good inkjet printer?

Really? Why is it that I can use 40 year old (or older) Nikon lenses on my FX camera?

I just got the Df and I can use Nikon lenses that are nearly 60 year old but still there are compromises and I do think Nikon is better off starting fresh with their full frame mirrorless.

My old {film} Pentax Super Program has a knob to input film speed; a dial on its outside provides exposure compensation; in essence, these are two views of the same control. I believe that is true of modern cameras also.

Not true with the digital camera. The ISO setting on the film camera only changes the meter but on the digital camera it changes both the meter and the sensor gain. Changing the ISO on a film camera to a different ISO than that of the film is the same as exposure compensation but changing the ISO on a digital camera is not.

With the new E lenses there should be no compromise using the adapter except making the camera larger but that's the same as making a camera with larger flange distance. With other lenses there would be some compromises but because the F mount has too many variations and to make a new camera that can accommodate all those lenses would make the mount too complicated.
I see they chose 16mm flange distance which is even shorter than the Nikon 1 which allows for adapting the Nikon 1 lenses also.

The exposure compensation actually only changes the meter reading but since the camera makes adjustments based on the meter reading so the exposure changes.

Well before last weekend I use film because that was the only way. Since I didn't have the darkroom any more I switched to slide film and now I think I would use slide film when I want SOOC.
I would use my Df in low light as I found it works much better than my film camera in low light. Even with flash I can crank the ISO up to 800 or 1600 and have the flash cycles very fast even when bouncing.

If fast and repetitive full power flashes are needed consider using fresh alkaline cells. Several advantages include higher cell voltage (1.5 vs 1.2 for nimh), lower internal resistance than nimh (less heating) and greater total mAhr capacity. Disadvantage is cost.

Since when alkaline battery has lower internal resistance than NiMH? Did you test a flash with NiMH and alkaline and see which one recycle faster?

Oh I don't have EXIF because if I have to have EXIF data then I really can't post any pictures. Up until last weekend my photos were shot with film.

I will try to post some of my shots but I have to scan them first. Up until last weekend I only used film.

Hi: I heard that you get special eye glasses for color blindness. I recently heard of one of my friends who purchased these glasses and was enjoying looking all the things around him. You can get one of these.

???? There is no such thing.

Take me for an example.... Ive been shooting professionally, ( I have clients that pay me. Its my PROfession), for a very long time, that being said, I don't know it all, and run across situations that are new to me and it forces me to update my understanding of photography. There are those here that seem to know everything, and yet from their comments its apparent that there is yet more room for learning.

There is always more things to learn about photography or any other disciplines but is there more room in one person head to learn more? That is the question.

You don't need a dedicated flash to use the hot shoe on most cameras available today.

Wrong. You can shoot in manual mode, using a handheld meter or "Sunny 16" rule to determine the shutter speed & then set the aperture on the ring...

I stand corrected! Yeah I do like shooting sans meter and manual focus. Wouldn't use a meter though takes all the fun out.

D60

There is no advantage of having the aperture ring with the D60 as you can't use it. Most (not all) lenses with aperture ring are not AF-S and thus won't AF with the D60.
