I bought a Case Logic right off the rack at Wal-Mart. Well padded, zipper storage on both sides for spare battery, lens brush, SD cards. Well in your price range....meaning I don't remember exact price.

Ditto, but I got it at Amazon, probably paid more, but Case Logic make good bags.

Was looking on BH website because I need a screen protector for my T3i .
They have so many to offer for various prices and the reviews always have something bad to say. From you guys an gals experience what is the best one to get ? Prices range from $7 to $45 dollars , Just don't want to buy one then figure out it don't work properly.

I have used GGS glass filters for years. No bubbles and as long as you get one specifically made for your camera they always fit. Here is the link to the Amazon version for your camera:

Another alternative is to rent the lens you are interested in. That gives you a chance to try it out on the trip, then decide if that lens is a good investment for the long-term.

I have used and recommend: https://www.lensrentals.com

But I'm wondering if I should invest in the 10-22mm for the trip. Just for the wide angle shots. Any advice would be great.[/quote]

My advice would be to buy a Canon 10 -18mm lens, about 1/2 the price of the 10-22mm lens with no difference in IQ, imho!

I will be reordering the correct mount lens this week. I have been VERY happy with B&H with previous orders. I just have little experience in returning things.

I deal with B&H almost exclusively. I have had occasion to return items to them and have never had an issue. When I do return things, even if I do what you did, by mistake, I would go into their site, request a return , get a label, take it to a UPS store or equivalent and pay the return shipping and receive a tracking number. I have never refused delivery, in fact, I would know how to do that because I am never home when they deliver. I feel better with a tracking number so I can tell when they received the package. I don't thing you would get that if you refused delivery. The price of shipping is worth it to me, of course I live on the east coast and usually get next day delivery.
Good luck.

Hi

What I would like to know is, anyone that has the 7D II how you do you like it and why?
Thanks, Cassy

I have one and I love it. I don't shoot wildlife, but I shoot hockey games and it is fantastic, the best I have ever had. You can't go wrong, the prices appear to be going down on Ebay, if you use them. Good luck and go Pats (from an old New Englander)

Is this lens any good? Seems awfully low-priced at $300 for a wide angle lens. I'm not expecting miracles from it, but can anyone weigh in as to their results and experiences using it?

I have it and IMHO it is worth more than Canon charges for it.

I could be wrong, but I believe when I checked out Greentoe, you don't know who you're buying from until the deal is completed. Take your chances.

You are correct. Greentoe guarantees that the item is new and sold by an authorized dealer, but you do take your changes. You can always return the item, after you pay for shipping. I wouldn't use it for everything.

Thanks for the reply I am sure that what you say you're willing to pay has to be close to the list price to be considered by their suppliers.

That's right. If you select an item and make an offer, which you reverse, you will see a sort of gauge that turns yellow and green depending on how much you offer. My dealer ended up being located in NJ and was a very reputable dealer, but as I said make sure you really want what you are ordering or you will pay the return shipping, but you will get a refund.

I have seen a site called greentoe.com and they claim that you can purchase equipment by the process of naming a price you are willing to pay and they search for a supplier that is willing to sell for that price. I have not tried to buy anything from them, but I am curious if any of you are familiar with them or purchased anything from them. I can't imagine that I could get a top rate lens for a dirt low price. I am always leery of offers that seem too good to be true. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thank you.

I have used them. I saved about $50 on a lens.
Greentoe sends your offer to their list of sellers, if a seller accepts your price, you are notified and the lens is sent, in my case I received it from a NYC seller in two days. The warranty is good and there are no grey sales. I found the site very good and will definitely use them again. When you send them an offer, you must use a credit card, if they can find a seller who is willing to sell the item to you for the price you quote, the sale is done. All vendors, I think, will accept returns, you must pay return shipping. You should be sure that you want the item when you make an offer. Good luck.
