Was looking on BH website because I need a screen protector for my T3i .
They have so many to offer for various prices and the reviews always have something bad to say. From you guys an gals experience what is the best one to get ? Prices range from $7 to $45 dollars , Just don't want to buy one then figure out it don't work properly.

I buy the ones at the Dollar Store for iPads and cut them to size using a cardboard template I make myself. Cheap and effective.

I prefer Hoodman Screen Protectors, although I have used Vello glass. Both work well, but the Vello is hard to change if damaged.

My Sony HX50 has a 3" screen and I wear it in a belt pack (not fanny pack) that contains several other things. The chances for screen breakage are great. I bought a sun shield which when folded down is a metal shield. Inside there is an additional rigid clear plastic. Lens is protected by a plastic cap to shield the thin metal leaf lens closure.

My previous camera, Panasonic ZS-20, had a touch screen so the plastic was cut out of the sun shield/hood/protector. Cost about $12. Check E-Bay and Amazon for:

I have used GGS glass filters for years. No bubbles and as long as you get one specifically made for your camera they always fit. Here is the link to the Amazon version for your camera:

I have the same camera and was using the usual screen protectors available for cameras but my wife got me, by mistake, a screen protector for an iPhone. What a difference! Not as flimsy, easy to install, thicker so doesn't curl with time, no "bubbles", and clear as a bell.

With my t3i, I try to remember to flip and close screen.

I don't use protectors on my camera or on my cell phone. I have not used them for years and have not had a problem.

I did use them on one phone years ago, but found they interfered with functionality.

i use GGS for my D7000. Durable, perfect fit and easy to install. Bought for around $9.00 on eBay. No worries.

I use these as well. Great product at a good price and I believe superior to a plastic cover. ;)

Same. Can't tell it's there. Example: Sent my Nikon to Nikon repair. They wanted about $250 to fix my "cracked" small LCD on the back. It was actually a cracked protective glass that had done its job. It was good enough to fool the Nikon repair guys in LA.
