The cards compatible with your camera must have a U3 and class 10 rating.

https://www.sdcard.org/developers/sd-standard-overview/speed-class/

And as others have mentioned the card would need to be formatted to your device before use. make sure the card is unlocked. Also, you may need to take a pencil eraser to clean the copper contact/leads on the card.

I agree as I'm left to do the same thing. often this means having to get to a location at a specific time in order to hopefully get at least one shot. 9 out of 10, I'd walk away without the shot. Most of my shots are lucky shots and nothing more I'm sure if I stay longer in these location I would have noticed more. But it any shot worth the effort of getting after you look at it later. I'm very tempted to just delete the images, but the wife would say otherwise.

Oh well looks as if I'll have to take my lumps and just send the roll of film out to be developed no matter how long it takes. I just want to see a few of those test subject images so I can best decide If I want to continue using this waterproof camera. In fact today if only I had one of these cameras in house, I would have run out and played with the neighborhood kids as they played in the rain. Would have made for some interesting images for sure.

A lot of this is caused by acid rain. The last time we visited marshal NC and drove up to the ranger station. it was a waste land of dead trees, but only after achieving a certain level.

Paul, I can sense your snide unwarted remarks about my typo which at the time could not be corrected. If you search the forums you will see that many others here have the same issue. If you/others understand the logistics of what I'm trying to say, then there was no need to make this snide comment about my typo. Furthermore, there's no rule to having a border around your work only that it is necessary that one have at least 1/4 white area around the print in other to better set the print for matting. other wise the dry mount may or may not adhere correctly and the print will peal away from the matting. The point of my comments is that I was offered a white border and didn't get one through the three printing services I used. therefore I added the white border myself to eliminate any confusing next time I'm ready to print. Then there's the issue with framing, as a personal preference, a white mat with a stark black frame is best suited for my Black and white images. if you allow for a 1'' or even a 2'' border around your print the framer can adjust the matting as to allow at least part of the white border to come through. this adds a bit of depth to the image as it looks as if it's been double matted.

As a side note, I've added the white border as I suggested above and still one printing company got it wrong, They ended up actually cutting away my white border.. here's what's happening. Because of the oddball size, they printed my print on a standard print sized luster paper, then once the image has bene printed it's sent to a cutter down the line. If this cutter is not aware this image is suppose to have a white border, he/she will simply cut off the excess white area around the image. Clearly lazy robotic people running this show without any style or perfection or attention to details.

So I did the same thing back in 2006. My first digital Nikon was the D50.. but I wasn't ready to move over to canon. I went through Kodak, then fujifilm mainly due to size and handling limitations. Mind you as a loyal Nikon users, I was disappointed when Nikon never made a small type mirrorless camera. Thus one reason I went canon M6 merely the size was the main draw. What I tell others if they are thinking of making a switch from one brand to another, best try a smaller mirrorless camera made by the manufacture you're interested in. Experiment with older adapted lenses etc.

Here's the latest. Just got an email from NationsPhotoLabs and they don't develop film, but referred me to scancafe.com I contacted scansafe and it will take 8-10 days again with no promise that it will be delivered before the deadline. But they do offer free digital downloads once the images have been developed. This is cutting it too close for comfort.

@fjdarling As long as the camera is not digital and the images can be uploaded to the hog site or image storage site.

Here's what I'm having to deal with, finding the camera, taking the pictures now I need the film developed.

This challenge has gotten more complex that I was hoping for and I may not make the deadline on my challange.

I have one more shot at this, contacted NationalPhotolabs. As for the challenge/contest my wife furious this contest wasn't giving more time. it leaves creative on the fly people like me out of the loop while those who have the darkrooms etc can develop these analog image with ease. Top prize was 3K, 2nd was 2k and 3rd 1K along with a feature in their magazine. Oh well best I can hope for is waiting 2 weeks for the film to be developed, placed on a USb then sent to me.

Crap.. Just heard from TheDarkroom:

Quote:

"Current turnaround for disposable cameras is 7-9 business days (excludes Sat & Sun) once received at the lab, We would not be able to guarantee they would be completed by next Friday."

End Quote

Well at least I can drop the film off local and have it developed.. just not in time for the challenge..
