I'm now obsessed with my current offsite challenge I've accepted through another site. it deals with the use of a kids camera. The camera can be a waterproof or a typical disposable camera no digital cameras allowed. In fact, if one wants to get really creative, they could use a home made pinhole camera with photo paper etc.
The idea is to use what you're able to find in your local store, the small disposable plastic cameras with a plastic lens etc. For my challenge yesterday, I had to drive several miles/hours searching for a disposable camera instore and I ended up with a fujifilm kids waterproof 35mm camera.
One has 4 weeks to complete this challenge as some film development can take up to 3 weeks to developed. I've found that Walgreen can developed within 3-7 days. The last stipulation, is that you can't use the camera's view finder. you're going to have to just judge or approximate distance and angle of the shot. I sent 10 hours yesterday just pointing and shooting and hoped for the best.
Image must be taken with a disposable camera. If you're not able to locate a black & white film camera, you may take image in color but the image must be converted to black and white without any other post processing.
Your have 4 weeks to completed this task. I'll be posting my images soon as well.
GOOD LUCK!
There are instant cameras designed for kids. Would one of those satisfy the challenge rules of the challenge?
Not that I've seen yet, but I wasn't looking very long. You're probably right though -- it's unlikely.
@fjdarling As long as the camera is not digital and the images can be uploaded to the hog site or image storage site.
Here's what I'm having to deal with, finding the camera, taking the pictures now I need the film developed.
