That's why I never shoot with my mobil phone.

Last February I was in the Sacramento Mountains in New mexico doing a gig. I was on a steep grade with a lot of snow on the ground. My foot got caught in a branch buried underneath the snow. I took a spill. I tucked my camera close to my body and made sure I landed on my knees. I had a few scrapes but nothing happened to my camera.

My best recommendation is Shutterfly. They do fine quality work. I have seen results from them from shots taken from a simple point and shoot camera. and by looking at them you'd never know it.

When I upload photos from my memory card I go to Adobe Bridge. However dated photos stop at July 5. and to get back to Photoshop I have to detour by way of MS photos. What can I do to avoid this. Your comments would be appreciated.

I have that same problem too when I'm shooting street scenes. This is not only with people but with animals too. I have a beautiful German Shepard. When I try to take pictures of him he runs away. You'd think I was pointing a gun at him.

I took a shot through a window in a high-rise. The photo had good composition but I was disappointed when I got a reflection from an overhead fluorescent light from the ceiling. However. It was nothing that Photoshop couldn't cure.

I agree with burkphoto. I've done a lot of business with KEH and they're very reliable. I've also business with Adorama. They too are go good outfit to work with.

Keep your crop sensor and buy a full frame. That's what I did. Then choose the camera which is most appropriate for the shot that you're going to do.

I remember those days very well. One of youth's lessons I had to learn the hard way was this. Rather than print the whole roll of film I did a contact sheet. from there I only printed the one's that I liked, (which were very few). But it did save me a lot of money.

I have to old cameras, a Canon Rebel T2i and a Canon Rebel XSi. I only use them if I'm shooting in high risk situations. They've both been working fine until recently. But lately everything I shoot has an excessive amount of blue. I can easily correct that in Photoshop and Lightroom. But I had planned on giving them, one to a friend and another to a relative, both who are just starting out with photography. Is there any quick way to fix this without having to take them in for repairs?

Looking at the shot of the woman with all that gear, I'm sure that it was all a gag to pose for her portrait. I can't imagine anybody schlepping that much gear for a single shoot.

I might want to go on that excursion. Where can I get tickets? If two expensive, What is the route that this train will be taking? If feasible I'll go to a place where I could take some pictures of it passing through.

I would wait a couple of years before buying a mirror less camera. Here's why. First, like any new product on the market, be it electronic gadgets, cars, or appliances, no matter how much R&D goes into it before marketing there are going to be bug. Wait until the bugs get worked out and then you'll be likely to have a better product. Secondly, The very high prices that these new cameras cost, you're paying for R&D and promotion. When those costs are taken care of the prices will drop. Case in point flat screen televisions. That cost about half as much today as they did when they first hit the market.
