Problems with Adobe Bridge

When I upload photos from my memory card I go to Adobe Bridge. However dated photos stop at July 5. and to get back to Photoshop I have to detour by way of MS photos. What can I do to avoid this. Your comments would be appreciated.

Navigate your Bridge to the folder where you added the files.

Sounds like you got an automatic update from Adobe on July 5, and it reset your defaults so that files open in MS Photos instead of Adobe Bridge. Check your defaults and set them to your preferences.
Edit > Preferences > File Type Associations
You'll probably find that many file types are directed to open in MS Photos.

Seriously, I am sorry I am not sure why you have to go to MS Photos to get back to Photoshop.
And why should the photos stop at July 5?
