I am 69, semi-retired, and have been taking pictures since I was in grade school with a variety of cameras, but I still consider myself a novice. Last spring I purchased a Fujifilm x-t200 camera with several lenses - incentive to learn more and to go outdoors during the pandemic. I have completed a couple photography classes and joined a local "shutterbugs" club. In addition, I collect antique cameras. I first logged onto UglyHedgehog a couple months ago at the suggestion of a friend.
I sometimes use lens cleaner that I buy for my eye glasses. It is supposed to be good for camera lens.
My girl often wags her tail when she is sound asleep. I figure she must be enjoying a pleasant dream. (Yes - dogs dream.)
Beware, many airlines will not give you an actual refund. Sometimes, they allow you to rebook without fees. Sometimes, you can "bank" the amount of the ticket ((or frequent flyer miles) for a specific period of time. Check the policy of the specific airline(s) issuing the ticket. I had to cancel two international trips last year because of the pandemic.
Try checking on Kayak.com If the lowest fare is your top priority, Norwegian often has great deals, but it is bare bones - everything is extra (meals, etc.). I suspect you may have to fly through London.
Cute! Given my day so far, a laugh was just what I needed.
Autocorrect often drives me crazy - often inserts the wrong word, especially if the original is in a language it does not recognize.
Here in Hillsborough County, the website crashed within several minutes of being launched and the telephone line was always busy. Hopefully, the new website will be more efficient. USF Health has indicated that it will email patients 65 and above with pre-conditions. I do not have high hopes.
I get both phone calls and cards. I can't tell you how many said "last call" or "last opportunity."
I added a screen protector on my new Fujifilm mirrorless camera for protection. It has an articulated screen, and like an earlier comment, it cannot be fully closed with the protector. However, I rarely close it.
I too discovered Kanopy through our county public library system. It is free. Here there is a 10 film maximum for every 30 days.
My total mileage for 2020 was almost 5000 miles less than the previous year. The Hartford (through AARP) also gave partial premium rebates for 2 months last spring.
I find the need to get out of the house, besides going to the supermarket. Florida winter is glorious for exploring local parks once or twice a week. Most of the museums in the Tampa Bay area also have safety protocols in place and only have a handful of visitors during the week when they open in the morning.
I almost bought from Ted's, but realized they have terrible reviews - grey merchandise and poor customer service.
I recently bought a used Fujifilm lens from KEH and am quite satisfied. It is exactly as described.
