I just discovered Kanopy.com, a streaming service in association with libraries. If you have a library card with a library that participates, it is free. You can check to see if a library near you participates on their website. I was able to get a virtual library card from my library online. They have an outstanding selection of content, especially documentaries, and The Criterion Collection, which has classic films from around the world.

I too discovered Kanopy through our county public library system. It is free. Here there is a 10 film maximum for every 30 days.
