If you do go to the Burrens don’t miss the Burrens perfumery. It’s incredible.
Connemara is wonderful too

My 7200 went for a dip when a kayak guide dropped it in the water (inside my dry bag that wasn’t all the way closed). This was several years ago. I let it dry out and it’s been working ever since, although the filter never recovered.
Good luck. Our cameras are on the older side but I still love mine.
I have the TG-6. Takes really good water photos as long as there’s light. Even the action shots (kids jumping in the pool etc) come out great
So I guess I “cheated” with this photo, shot on auto at Longwood gardens. Or perhaps this isn’t what you’d call bokeh? Idk but I kinda like the effect.
I’m obsessed with these beautiful birds. They collect sticks from the trees in our backyard for their nests.
All I can think to say is that they’re amazing. Very clear and crisp. I’m jealous.
I didn’t know about tongues on birds until I started feeding hummingbirds.
They are fun to photograph.
I rented one with the thought of buying it and it worked great on my Nikon 7200 but was too heavy. You might want to rent one to see if it works for you
My Nikon 7200 got wet on a kayaking trip. The guide dropped it in the water! I dried it out, put it in rice when I got home, and had it cleaned. The lens is shot but the camera still works. Bought another just in case it fails.
Sitting at home in my driveway I realized I could use my car as a blind. We get lots of hummingbirds in PA. I can sit there and shoot. Actually I’ve sat on my deck and gotten some fun pictures and videos
On my Nikon 7200 I’ve traveled quite a bit with the 18-300 lens. Didn’t want to travel with a bunch of lenses. It’s been quite good all around
What lenses do you have? I might be interested for my 7200
