I did not know that birds had tongues (never thought about it), until I was looking at the pictures at 1:1 magnification.

All I can think to say is that they’re amazing. Very clear and crisp. I’m jealous.
I didn’t know about tongues on birds until I started feeding hummingbirds.
They are fun to photograph.

Thank you very much for the feedback. I haven't had much luck with hummingbirds. I may need to invest in a feeder.
