I like Topaz Noise AI. It takes 10 to 15 seconds and is quite good. I have several photos that were near unusable until I put them through this filter.

ON1 No noise is also good but I still prefer Topaz.

Agree with you, tried the new AI in lightroom and it took 12 minutes each with 2 images. Topaz did them in about 15 seconds each. They both looked good but doing lightroom with sports photos will take forever.

I ordered a camera plate from B&H. They sent it by USPS. It went to a main hub just a few short miles from my home. They sent it to another main hum about 60 miles away who then sent it to Portland Oregon, I live in Tacoma, Wa area, from Portland it was sent to San Juan Puerto Rico. Eventually after its vacation it reached me a couple of weeks later. Here the worse is FedEx, UPS is really good in my area.

I’m thinking about getting this lens. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me how you like or dislike the Nikkor AF-S FX 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR. Most of the reviews I have seen mentions how heavy it is. Does the weight bother you? Also are there any other issues with this lens you would like to point out. How do you like the sharpness? Any information about the Nikkor AF-S FX 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It is just a little heavier than my Nikon 70-200, by a tad bit. It has a nice range but, focus is slow. Use it on a D4s, tend to try to prefocus, primarily when doing baseball or softball. If you take the time to micro focus with and without a TC14EIII it is very sharp.

I had a similar issue with them. Took months to solve it. Started filing complaints with my AG and NY AG. Finally got someone who was kind and wanted to do something to help at Adorama, was sent to the executives, executive Secretary told them the problem and that I intended to get ahold of every magazine and online photo site and tell them my experience. They asked me to hold off and let them try to solve the issue. What I was trading gear in for was a 35-70 f2.8. The sec came back and said they didn’t have any in stock, I said not my problem you have had plenty and I was never sent one. Told them to replace it with a similar product or better, suggested a 80-200 f2.8 (used) or a 28-70 f2.8. He asked if the 80-200 would work for me, I said yes, he said hold on let me crunch some numbers. Came back online and said he didn’t think I would like the used one so they would send a brand new Nikon 80-200 f2.8 on my door step in 2 days. It did arrive. I hope the guy who tried the swindle was fired. Good luck and don’t give up.

I have bought excellent from MPB and there is always a little mark here and there. If you wanted better then you should have looked for “like new”. If it bothers you that much send it back and buy a brand new one.

I had an order end up in San Juan Puerto Rico. I live in Tacoma, Washington. It wasn’t B&H’s fault but the Post Office in Sumner Washington who sent it on its merry way.

Depends on where you will be shooting from, what kind of access you will have. Might want to look at some used gear. I have a D500 and it has become my secondary or back up body. Not impressed with its low light capabilities. The D4s I purchased is far superior to the D500 in my opinion. The 200-500 lens you can find at MPB for some pretty good prices. I really haven’t found anyone who can beat their prices. KEH comes close. They sell used gear and it has become the primary place I purchase anything.

I have Nikon TC’s, they are awesome but, can only be used on specific Nikon lenses. I have tried the Tamron before and sent it back as it was horrible. As someone stated Nikon on Nikon, Sigma on Sigma etc.

I got a 18-55 kit lens with a D80 and it was incredibly sharp. All the way up to the day it broke for no reason.

Several years ago I had a problem with them. Sent in some lenses and got a quote They were willing to swap for a lens I wanted then the crap happened. The lens was sold to someone else so then they sent a completely different lens that was broken. Then the would have the lens and when I called them they it was sold, even when they had 3 in stock, when I called they were all sold even though they stayed on the side for weeks. Nobody would help. Filed complaint with state AG and NY AG. Finally got ahold of the executive secretary. Explained what happened and stuff his people said. Told him I had filed with AGs and was going to write a letter to every magazine editor they advertised in and tell them what they did. He made good on the problem, this all occurred over several months, sent me a brand new Nikon 80-200 f2.8 D lens. Buy some stuff from them but not big ticket items.

I buy nearly all my gear from them. The last 2 years I have purchased several lenses and a camera body. I prefer like new to excellent. 2 lenses I purchased came in original boxes and still sealed, looked like they just came out of a stores inventory. Nobody I have found can compare to their prices for the same quality. They are my first choice for used equipment. All the gear I bought was Nikon except for a Sigma 120-300 f2.8 sport which was listed like new and not a scratch on it and works flawlessly. You won’t be disappointed.

If you don’t go with the Nikon TC14EII you will kick yourself in the. Ackside later on. I got one at MPB for a really good price for my 300AFS 2.8D and it is a great TC. By the way the lens you have like mine will not mount the version III so you need to stick with the version I or II.

I have the Nikon TC14EIII and I have done some very close examination of the images when it is used with no see able degrading of the image. Nikon TC’s are usable on specific Nikon lenses only. Have tried the Tamron 1.4 and it was absolutely horrible.

The D500 only recognizes Nikon batteries. Don’t know about some of the other cameras. My D800 works fine with non Nikon batteries.
