Not going to name a company (one of the good guys supposedly) but here’s what happened, the below is the email I just sent them. The demo is $100 cheaper than new just to clarify that part. Would you be ok keeping it since they did automatically lower the price?

Received my order and I have to say I was surprised to of ask for a brand new lens and I specifically said I wanted new due to warranty and resale value and at that time I was charged for new on my CC. The next day I noticed that order was canceled and a new order was generated which I didn’t really understand then I noticed a lower amount was charged to my CC (was charged full price originally) and today I received a used lens in bubble wrap, no box or warranty card which means no warranty and resale value drops a lot.

Not happy about that but I will just keep it and hope it has no issues as I’m sure Canon won’t honor any warranty. This is sad to of had an order just canceled and switched with no communication with me. Lesson learned on my end as I really thought I was dealing with a company that has a great reputation. Oh well! I did attach a PDF of what my original order was before it was changed.

I never heard of any of the reputable companies pulling a scam like this. This whole scenario sounds strange to me. If you can't name the company then there is no relevance to your claim.

? You should find your shutter count in the EXIF data.

It isn't found in Canon EXiF data.

I have just had an auto update to my pc, & now I've only got a black screen. Cursor but nothing else.
It goes through the startup sequence with password etc but black screen & no icons.
I managed to manoeuvre to safe mode, but nothing goes in or out. No internet, no sound, can't down load or upload pics. Who knows what other problems I'm in for?

Does anyone out there know of a solution? Microsoft need shafting for their incompetence. Every update some thing goes wrong!!
Any one else have these frustrations??

I had the same issue updating WIN10 today. The screen went black and all I had was the cursor with no hard drive activity. I tried to turn it off manually using the power button but it would not shut down. I must have held the button for 20 seconds. Then suddenly my sign in screen appeared and I signed in successfully. Maybe I got lucky but you might try it.

It didn't stop at ice cream.
16.oz. canned vegetables are 12-14 oz. What does that do to recipes that call for a 16 oz. can?
Condensed soup, same thing. Everyone gets a little less unless you want to add more water!
A pound of coffee or bacon??? Was 12-14 oz. also.
Look inside a box of crackers to see how much space there is in there now. They didn't shrink the box so it still looks the same to buyers.

Packages of bacon are much smaller now.

The robocaller industry is most likely contributing to legislators bank accounts. There should be laws to make selling customer phone numbers by corporations that we have to do business with illegal.

Welcome. There's plenty of Canon shooters, most are typically out creating images rather than worrying about replacing one camera with a marginally improved version with or without a mirror ...

I have read numerous responses in this thread. Personally, I find the responses from those who have visited Cuba to be more useful than those who have never been there and formed personal opinions about the people and government.

You can't even touch grey market for this amount.

I would call my credit card company and dispute the order and have them issue a new credit card with new number.
