I use Corel Aftershot Pro for the catalog features then export tif's and then edit with Affinity Photo. It works well.
I have both programs and both are good software. I almost never use Photoshop elements just because I am more familiar with Painthsop Pro. I also use Corel aftershot pro as it has a good catalog system. If you upgrade Paintshop Pro it is normally very cheap to upgrade.
Go to file Export in Aftershot Pro
I use Affinity Photo all the time and is my goto over Paintshop Pro
You may want to contact Tamron, I have the same lens and have no issues with it
I use Aftershot Pro 3 with Paintshop Pro Ultimate 2018 and Affinity Photo. My go to is Affinity Photo.
I bought Luminar and not happy with, like Affinity photo better
Paintshop Pro and Affinity Photo
I have the Tamron 90mm macro and would not trade it for anything as it works great. It also works great with a Tamron 2x converter.
I have the 18-400 and it works good but is sometimes slow to focus. But it takes good photos. Never owned the 16-300 so can't compare them for you.
I bought a refurb and use it almost every day with no problems.
Affinity works great for me and have used it since it came out for Windows. Just updated to the latest version and got some nice textures and brushes as freebies.
Affinity Photo or Paintshop Pro
I have about 4 images programs including Paintshop Pro X9 with no problems like that at all
I have the Tamron and just love it, works very well
