Does anyone have experience or advice on how to mount the Falcam 38 backpack clip on a LowePro 250 AW? So far, Ulanzi service has not been helpful.

Just to clarify, 'back button focus' is not described in any camera manual of any make / model of camera. Look for 'custom' functions or 'programming' of external controls within the manual. Or, use google for your camera model, most every type of camera will have a u-tube demonstration of the configuration process.

Thanks for the detailed explanation and examples. I found this article very helpful.

I guess I am the only one who had a problem. After upgrading to Big Sur on a Macbook Pro, my Canon PIXMA Pro 9500 MK II could not be recognized and used. Neither Apple or Canon is willing to establish a driver or compatibility with AirPrint so that the printer, which produces really good prints for my use, can be used.

I have a PC on Windows 10 that recognizes the 9500 MK II and does print using the latest LRC and PS versions.

I am trying to figure out how I can edit on the Macbook Pro using LRC and PS and then printing that same image using the Windows 10 PC that has LRC and PS installed.

Anyone know how I could do that? Anyone have a better idea, other than use a different printer?

Go to the Canon support page for your printer and download the updated driver. They have it for MacOS 11 Big Sur.

Thanks.

MacBook Pro indicated available OS update to Big Sur. I updated. Now the 9500 MK II is not recognized as a printer. Other than scrapping the printer, anyone have the same problem and/or found a good solution?

That printer has served me well. So any ideas on how I could keep it in service would be welcomed.

I am interested in purchasing an external monitor for my MacBook Pro. I use mainly PS and LR for external editing. Would appreciate any recommendations.

I use a MacBook Pro (2015) connected to an NEC P221W monitor. Very satisfied with resolution, etc. NEC customer support is great, should you need it. When it is time to replace, I will consider PA series from NEC . Spectra view II. software is easy to use and understand, and it has a great reputation. Hope this helps.

Upgraded SpectraviewII software as prompted (1.1.41) and Macbook Pro (2015) to Catalina as prompted in that order. When I try to calibrate NEC P221W monitor as in the past, I get the message that no calibration tool can be found (i1Display 2 has been used up to now). In addition, the NEC monitor is displaying bizarre red colors on part of its wallpaper portrait image.

If anyone has experienced the same and/or has some advice on how to remedy this problem, it would surely be welcomed.

Just got back from Disney World and all I saw was about 2 dozen digital DSLR’s including Mirrorless the entire time I was there. The park photographers all use Crop Sensor Nikon’s. EVERYBODY was using cell phones. I didn’t see a single point and shoot and only a few bridge type cameras. I was surprised.

I plan on going to Disney with my family next year and expect to take my DSLR. My decision hinged on the purpose of my photography. There will be enough family members to make pics that record our fun times. My intent is to capture those moments that my DSLR is particularly good at, such as action shots, emotions and the candid moments that will be special to us. I just don't know how to do that with my iPhone.

how are they hung and what happens when it rains, snows, etc? What are the dimensions of the quilts? Or, are these really paintings?

I have the 1400 for many years. When it was recommended to me, I was told that the color prints would be really good, but B\W would be unsatisfactory, as you described. True to the recommendation, the color prints are good to my eyes; but, I use a canon 9500 for B\W. Never even tried to print B\W on the 1400.
