i1Display 2 Not Recognized

Upgraded SpectraviewII software as prompted (1.1.41) and Macbook Pro (2015) to Catalina as prompted in that order. When I try to calibrate NEC P221W monitor as in the past, I get the message that no calibration tool can be found (i1Display 2 has been used up to now). In addition, the NEC monitor is displaying bizarre red colors on part of its wallpaper portrait image.

If anyone has experienced the same and/or has some advice on how to remedy this problem, it would surely be welcomed.

Sounds as if you need a new driver to go with the updated OS.

Update software and drivers. The reboot your computer with the i1 Display Pro attached by a USB cable directly connected to the computer, not a USB hub.
