In my humble opinion, I feel that the ADA has grown legs of it's own and is now becoming a monster that no one can control.

Is this not a common trait of most well intended, government programs? Support sunset laws!

An important consideration, learned from living with a "legally Blind" person for awhile. Legally blind is not "sightless". My grandmother had 3 percent sight vision in one eye, could discern people entering a room, could read, with a magnifier, and raised three children in that condition. It would seem that while a sightless person with a weapon would be a danger to themselves and other, I have known legally blind folks that would be able to hit a body sized target as well as I could.I an sure it could happen, but I cant imagine a sightless individual feel ing comfortable with a weapon, unless it was actually assumed that a caretaker could access it.In that case the caretaker ought to apply for the license

A google search shows them on Amazon.com, and a number of other places.

If you are not shooting Raw, I would "Save As" with a different name, and keep the original separately, in case there is a need for more processing (a do over, crop to a different print size etc). repeated saves on the file will show a degraded image.

I would save a photo with a very distinctive name that will pop right up (TESTIMage.psd for example. ) then do a command f search for that file name, it will show you where it is and hierarchy to find it . I notice you are saving as PSD. Try a Command F search for PSD and you should find all of them.

I didnt see it mentioned, but the lens must be locked with the aperture wide open, or you get some sort of an ERR message.

I have had Sandisc (only brand I use) washed and dried, still worked! Most brand name cards are lifetime warranteed, Cant replace images, but could get a new card. I expect it will be fine, let us know.

Are you using "mail" on a MAC? That program has an easy to miss box at the bottom of the email allowing you to select image size.

As GoofyNewfie has already said, only one lens you have is a DX lens, but either the D600 or D800 will accept that lens and simply switch to DX mode when it is mounted. If you would add a 24-70mm F2.8 to what you already have, you would have your current range of lenses covered again in full frame.

I agree, the D800 IS a quantum leap in image quality. I still use my 18-200 on it for some of the newspaper work I do, and the editor has commented on the increased quality in detail, exposure and color. Same lens different camera, surprisingly big difference in quality. You won't go wrong, even with the DX lens mounted.

There are online retouching services that will do that for you and the price is reasonable. Of course, if you are a computer guru, you can diy.

That works in the search window (command F) But I don't see it from the finder drop down. That "finder", I believe manages the desktop and OS for apple.

Hey there follow hedgehogs. I am joining a shooting a tennis match seminar next week I wanted to know if the nikon d2xs is better than the Nikon d300s for shooting sport action photography. What lens would I need as well.

With adequate light, the D300 is excellent. It is not as good for low light events, however. Paired up with a 70-200 2.8, I would be comfortable with that. Monopod can help as well.

Hit Command F Use the find screen to type in a filename or simply dsc or jpg to see all that are available. If they are named part of a filename will work

Quincy has some nice city views, as well as some historical homes (Home of John Adams, JQ Adams, and the church they are buried in. Quincy is 8 mi south of Boston. Plymouth is ony about 30 miles south, and is pretty interesting, although a bit "touristy" at this time of year. Whale watches from there are great.

If the day is clear, go to the top of the Prudential Building

The North end has lots of old, interesting streets and buildings.

PM me when nearing Boston, I would love to meet another "hog"
