You can use the description of the picture as the filename. For example - Mamaw on the far left Emma McCleary Bridges ca 19xx . jpg

My Nikon 18-70mm f3.5-4.5 is a refurb. Haven't had a lick of trouble with it.

I don't know which one has the filter, but when I enlarge them and view them side by side, pic F seems to have "greener" leaves in the stand of trees. A bit more saturated, perhaps. Especially on the 2 trees on the right side of the pic. Almost more like what a circular polarizer would acheive.

Check out page 74 of your user's manual. You have to be in "Full" on the CSM/Setup menu in order to access the timers.

I leave mine on while I'm out and about and wearing it around my neck. I turn it off when it goes into the bag or when I'm changing a lens.

The only one I'll hazard an answer to is the last one. I believe it's an OpTech strap. I use one and really like it.

I think Mythbusters did a show on that bullet thing - no big threat.

They did, and it wasn't.

Yeah, I knew about sync speeds. Just didn't use any flash today. Thanks.

All this talk of corn and not a single pic of it. I know this is chit-chat, but c'mon there has to be a pic or 2 of corn. LOL. Getting close to bedtime and all I can think of is corn.

Are you shooting in aperture priority, or manual?
Manual.
Then what shutter duration did you choose? (I suspect 1/200-sec).
You're close. 1/250th. I didn't really mention shutter speed since that can be very dependent on available light (no flash used) and what outcome the photographer is looking for. I never know how helpful the shooting specs are since sunny vs cloudy (for example) could result in very different settings (depending on what the wanted outcome is). I suppose you could say I shot in aperture priority as my intent was to use f11. I just didn't select aperture priority on the dial.

Who put that second image in my post? I know it's a crop to show the bugs closer. I'm going to try and get it without resorting to too much cropping. Also, who reworded my picture title?
