KEH offered me $140 for a seldom used Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro lens but when they inspected it they said there was fungus in the lens and offered me $15 for it. I told them that I had not seen any fungus in the lens and to please return it to me. They did, I subsequently sent it to MPB for a $100 offer and they ended up evaluating it at $95 so I took it. No mention of fungus. At the same time I sold KEH a D750 and some other lenses for higher prices than MPB offered. I think KEH probably decided they had too many of the Tamron 90’s in stock and low balled the original offer, but to say the reason was fungus was a stretch. I buy and sell much more often with MPB but Robert’s has treated me fairly as well.

One plus for Roberts (Used Photo Pro) is that they send buyers around the country. So if they happen to be at a nearby camera store, you can have the equipment evaluation in person, while you wait. Often, there are additional incentives to spend the money received, in the camera store during the trade-in event. A visit to their Facebook site might give you more info... https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/usedphotopro

Actually if you live nearby just go by the store. Just looking at the storefront will tell you a lot about their businesses. With a website you can't see very well how they do their business but seeing the store in person will tell you a lot. So really don't need to run away from these bad stores. Just go by the stores and you will know.

I have been using the Nikon 105mm with my D7500. I actually have the lens for sale on eBay as I have made the investment in a Z6ii and am beginning to acquire Z-mount glass.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/116085814566?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=3Rfy_T9oQ6S&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=3Rfy_T9oQ6S&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Let me know if interested, the non-eBay price is $155.

It was on eBay and the seller just had 8 cards, new in the wrapper. I bought all 8. There's a new function, at least new to me, on eBay called make an offer. I think the seller was asking something like $12 each and I offered $8 and the offer was accepted.

Counterfeit, no doubt.

Look up your item in Ebay, see what it has actually SOLD for. Then, I take that average and usually add a couple of bucks to it.
You item is ony worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Remember, the sellers of the SOLD items actually received 13.5% less from eBay. Plus, you are not paying sales tax either.

I have been going through thousands of old pictures going back to 1949, I came across a small box of Kodak disc film which was last made in 1982. Does anyone have any ideas how to digitize these pictures? Thanks in advance , Mike

You should be able to remove the plastic hub to allow the film to lay flat. Disc was coated on polyester (Estar) base, so it is quite tough. BTW, 1982 was the introductory date. It was discontinued in 1999. I was there.

I have a Godox TT685N and a Flashpoint R2 ProIIN and I am trying to do the simplest of things to just remotely trigger the flash. When I first got these, it was somewhat of a struggle understanding all of the options and controls but I did get them to sync and I was good to go. But I don't do this very ofter and just started to play with them together again and I just can't seem to get them to work. My phone did not take the best of pictures but here is a picture of the two screens. I have Group A set up with Channel one and ID set to off on both units. What other setting am I missing? Thanks for any help.

We need a more readable pic of those screens to be able to help. Guessing otherwise.
In the meantime, there are tons of YouTube videos on the TT685 that might be a more timely resource.

Thanks, but that’s more than I planned on spending. I appreciate you offering, but I’m on a minimal budget, SS and I can’t afford to spend that much.

I wanted to use my R10 to shoot photos of the grand kids, but the battery was dead. So, I put in a fresh battery and shot about 20 photos, shut the camera off, and put it in the cabinet. Yesterday, just three weeks later, went to use it and the battery was dead again. Is this a common occurance with the R10? Is the battery functioning when the camera is shut off? I don't have this issue with my R6, and never had the issue when I had DSLRs.

This might help...
