What the heck am I doing wrong

I have a Godox TT685N and a Flashpoint R2 ProIIN and I am trying to do the simplest of things to just remotely trigger the flash. When I first got these, it was somewhat of a struggle understanding all of the options and controls but I did get them to sync and I was good to go. But I don't do this very ofter and just started to play with them together again and I just can't seem to get them to work. My phone did not take the best of pictures but here is a picture of the two screens. I have Group A set up with Channel one and ID set to off on both units. What other setting am I missing? Thanks for any help.

The issue with the cell phone pic is you didn't store the file so no one can 'see' the details of what you're trying to show. Have you downloaded the user manual(s) for these products? That might be the most effective method to determine the configuration needed.

We need a more readable pic of those screens to be able to help. Guessing otherwise.
In the meantime, there are tons of YouTube videos on the TT685 that might be a more timely resource.

1- take the photos again so we can read the screen.
2- consider joining the Speedlight and Strobe Fundamentals Facebook group...there, Tim Payne and most everyone else use the Godox system. Post your problem there and you will get a knowledgeable response.

I just went through a similar experience with my Canon Speedlight strobes.
Some flash triggers do not work with all speedlights_ that is the case with Godox radio triggers and Canon. I'm figuring you have already confirmed compatibility.
Even though your picture is blurry, I do not see any icon showing an antenna_ somewhat similar to this: "!". That indicates a radio signal. Review that setup again. On the flash trigger, review if Group A is "ON". A lightning icon will indicate.
That is just a quick take on what I can make out on the screens. Once a clearer picture of the button functions on each device is posted, I may be able to walk you through more steps.

Now I know what that (store original) check box is for. Thanks and sorry. BTW I did pour over the manuals for both units and that is why I am frustrated. Did the same thing months back when I first got them and was able to figure it out. Guess I'm just getting dumber as I get older. No offense to other older photographers. Hopefully, this image is easier to read. My phone camera was having a bit of difficulty getting focus.

I had 2 Godox TT685N flashes that worked fine with my DSLR's, but would not work for love or money with my mirrorless cameras. As I recall there was an issue with firmware and I was never able to get them to work despite using Godox's firmware update tool. I ended up buying the camera manufacturer's flash and had no more problems.

I had found Alex Silva way back when I first got this combo. He is very good with clear instructions. He even has another video with my combo. However, when I follow his lead they are still not connecting. Thanks for the video.

Hi Rocky Beech. I have basically the same set up and from what I can tell, your settings look fine. Here are a few things to consider. First, if the trigger and flash are too close together (12" or less), they will often not sync. If you're just testing things out, you're likely to have them side by side which makes it seem like they're not working. Also, make sure you're using the correct test fire button. The trigger unit has 2 that are labeled with lightning bolts. Try using the one next to the group buttons (below the LCD). There are a ton of optional settings that can get in the way, but none of those appear to be displayed on either unit. Hopefully one of those tips will help. I've found this to be a rock solid set up that has never let me down, but like you said, when you don't use them for awhile, it can be frustrating to relearn the process. Don't give up! You won't regret it!

Just a visual of my settings ... and note I have both units with ID of 03.
Trigger fires flash even though they are that close.

You may need a Godox remote receiver to sit under your flash. The Godox trigger sitting on your camera may not be directly compatible with the flash. Godox triggers and receivers are camera specific also.

It looks like you have the transmitter mounted on a Nikon camera.
Make sure the channel set on the Flash is the same as the channel set on the Transmitter. Furthermore,
Godox can further restrict outside interference from other transmitters by letting you also set the Wireless ID. The Wireless ID has to be the same on all your wireless triggers and receivers or they won’t work together. You might have accidentally changed the Wireless ID on the Flash or Transmitter.
