I wanted to use my R10 to shoot photos of the grand kids, but the battery was dead. So, I put in a fresh battery and shot about 20 photos, shut the camera off, and put it in the cabinet. Yesterday, just three weeks later, went to use it and the battery was dead again. Is this a common occurance with the R10? Is the battery functioning when the camera is shut off? I don't have this issue with my R6, and never had the issue when I had DSLRs.
With my daughters Nikon D5600 even when turned off the bluetooth connection remained active continually looking to pair with her iPhone and iPad - ended up flattening the battery in a couple of days! Fixed it by turning off bluetooth. Might be a similar problem with your Canon? Cheers JohnR
