I went to Circle B Preserve in Lakeland last week with friends.
I took some photographs of an osprey when I looked at the photographs on my computer I noticed something wrong with it's eye.
Has any one any ideas what the problem is?

Thanks Jerry. I've looked at that one also, along with the Tamron 10-24. Just can't decide which would be best at lowlight.

I use the Tamron 10-24 to photograph interiors of properties I manage, you may need to use flash occasionally.
It is a good lens for the money.

When I go to UHH and click on a topic the cursorwillgo tothe very last response. In viewing a picture, the picture will disappear and I have to move the mouse hard to the left to see the picture. This is the only website I have issues with and I love UHH. Using IMac, 32GB memory, etc.

Any help wil be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. I have tried on Google Chrome & Safari, I have also tried on my wife's windows computer the same thing happens on all of them.
It is really annoying.

I'm going to retire and live off of my savings. Not sure what I'll do that second week.

I use SanDisk Extreme SDHC class 10 cards for my digital camera. At times when I am carrying light (no camera bag), I keep an extra card in my pant pocket.

After I washed my pants and then put them in the dryer I found a card when I took them out of the dryer. I left it in my pant pocket by mistake. Even though I had already download the pictures I was kind of worried about damages to my card. It was in the plastic carrying case.

I was very surprised and happy when I inserted my card into my computer and all the photos showed up and the card continues to work. Extreme for a reason or just plain lucky.

I have been looking for a wide angle lens for my T3i. I have an attachment one but it's horrible, but I can't seem to find a wide angle lens that's not under $1,000. Also would buying a fish eye lens suffice for a wide angle as well?

I have a Tamron 10-24 on my T1i and am really happy with it.
I use it for photographing interiors and landscapes.

In view of all the kind comments, remarks and private messages I have received concerning my leaving the Hog, I have reconsidered and will be staying for a while longer.

Thank you to everyone who responded with kind words, remarks and encouragement, you all know who you are and I thank you very much.

About the title: Barns by harclod, should, or shouldn't I try changing the titles each time I post, or should I leave it as it has been, making it easy for everyone who likes to view my barns? Anyone who wishes to respond, I welcome your thoughts on this matter.
Thanks again, Richard. And here's your next barn.

Hi Richard I am glad you decided to stay on the best photography forum.
To me the title does not matter. I go through all the posts and tend to stay on the ones that appeal to me.
Keep the barns coming!

Advice needed please.
I am at a serious mental photography block and am considering taking an online course by Mike Browne to get my photography juices flowing again.
The course is the "7 Building Blocks of Photography" at $130.00.
I like Mikes delivery and have watched most of his you-tube videos.
Have any fellow hoggers taken this course?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

I have been looking at the same 2 lenses for a while and finally went with the Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM. I could not afford the heafty price tag for the Canaon F2.8.
I did a lot of research on line and found some very good tests on YouTube by Matt Granger, here is the link.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mt_VsEH_T8o.

SWMBO gave me the go ahead to buy it as a Christmas present.
I went to a local camera shop to try the lens and bought it there and then.
I am still getting used to it, but feel it is a great lens.
I have tried it on my Tamron x2 convertor, it looses auto focus but I can live with that for now!
