When you prevaricate, you lie or mislead. Now, go ahead and tell me whether you already knew that meaning, and don't prevaricate about it — give me the story ...

Retract the A Belkin SurgePlus 3-Outlet Mini Travel Swivel Charger Surge Protector with Dual USB Ports (2.1 AMP / 10 Watt) Find a better power strip. It is not the one I used. I saw it advertised. It looked good. A closer look changed my mind. I used a Simran SM-60 Universal Power Strip 3 Outlets for 110V-250V Worldwide Travel with Surge/Overload Protection.

With this (and sometimes a plug converter) and the MediaBridge I am able to charge two iphones, two ipads, a Kindle, and a Nikon Battery at the same time while powering my MacBook Pro from one outlet.

Too many lens. Why the speedlight? The 7200 takes great shots at ISO 6400. Get a Mediabridge 4-Port USB Desktop Charger. Lots of USB charging cables. At least one spare Nikon Battery. Lots of SD cards, and a Think Tank pixel pocket rocket to carry them. A Belkin SurgePlus 3-Outlet Mini Travel Swivel Charger Surge Protector with Dual USB Ports (2.1 AMP / 10 Watt). Recommendations based on recent trips to China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Australia, Bali, New Zealand and Illinois.

One year ago after a trip to Cambodia with 7 photographers in which I was the only PC user I made the switch. There is no point in getting a MacBook Pro for Photography unless you get the top of the line. The fastest processor, the largest hard drive, the best screen, etc.
You will not regret your decision. After the learning curve you will love your MacBook Pro. You will not enjoying going back to a PC. The MacBook Pro is the best for tool you could have for Photography.

I am a Photo Warrior. I have traveled the world with the D610. Bali, Cambodia, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, United States, and Orange County. I prefer it to the D750. No flip out screen to fail. I like the placement of buttons better. I use it in very low light when needed, how important is that? I do not need more focus points. I use it almost daily. I average over 200 photos a week. I has never failed me.

You can shoot with a smart phone or any of the cameras you mention. The artwork result will be determined by you not the camera.

But you don't HAVE a 750 do you? And will the 810 elevate "everday ordinary photos" to a higher level over the 750? Wow, that 810 must be one hell of a photographer!

Rent a D610 and D750 and see what you like best. I like the D610 better since I never shoot video. Also I do not like the swing out screen. The D610 is more like the D7000 in the the look, feel and handling. Full frame give you much more to work with in post processing.

In Vietnam I bought a SLR with a threaded lens mount. If i recall it was a Honeywell Pentax. Great Camera. But oh the agony of a screw mount.

I am tired of google(ing) for images of all these cameras. Please include and image if you are going to take about a camera. I find this an interesting thread.

Did you actually sync it using LR or did you simply upload it to the cloud. I don't think LR will actually allow syncing to a cloud. In other words, when you open LR, it will only look for the library on your local machine. This being the case, just upload your laptop to the cloud and then when you get home, copy the same laptop library to your home PC. But make sure you copy the same image files from the laptop to the same folders on your home PC. Since your laptop has the latest work, that's how I'd do it.
Did you actually sync it using LR or did you simpl... (show quote)

I can see this is a can of worms. I will have to study this carefully before answering any questions or making any decisions. I can say that I downloaded LR CC to my laptop two days ago. It asked if I wanted to sync my Catalog to the cloud. I said yes. About one hour later I downloaded LR CC to my Desktop. It asked If I wanted to sync my Catalog to the Cloud. I said yes. It said I already had a catalog on the cloud would I like to replace it.
Note to the person who said they do not process while traveling. I take a 1 TB external hard drive as backup. I just returned from a 6 week trip overseas. I need to process while I travel.
I will work it out. Thanks.
