So, Going to Florida, Hope to capture Wildlife(Birds), Sunrise/Sunsets,
Family etc. Light, Dark, Night, Daytime.
Have a great Tamron Backpack.
I'm bringing a D5300, D7200, 10-24mm, 16-85mm, 50mm, 70-300mm, 150-600mm, mono-pod, 700 Speedlight, and assorted stuff.
What lens(s) would you leave home?
Thanks for your responses in advance !

If you have to leave 1, the 16-85. Those focal lengths would still be covered.

You could leave the 50, but it might be your best walk around, low light lens.

I don't know. I always take too much with me. I guess you just have to ask yourself what specific reason do you have for each piece of equipment.

Unless I was flying I'd take all of those lenses. And I'd add a good tripod to the pile.

Why do you need the 70-300mm when you're taking a 150-600mm?

Don't take this with you - ship it down. Cheaper and safer.

Wildlife and family is interesting. Are you staying in a hotel or a camping? If I was staying in a hotel I would take the 7200, the 16-85 for all but birds and the 70-300 for other. My thought is that you will be taking more family type pictures rather than leaving the family at the pool while you're out in the wild. If you're camping then I switch out the 70-300 for the 150-600. Have fun.

Having just come back from FL where we did a lot of shooting at Corkscrew Swamp Preserve and from a boat around Pt Charlotte Harbor and the Pease River, I'd take only the 16-85 and the 70-300; between them they will cover most anything you want to shoot and you won't have to bother with carrying a tripod with you.
