I couldn't see spending 2300.00 for that lens. I went with the Sigma 100-400 and I am impressed with it. no tri-pod mount but the lens is so light and well balanced that their is really no need for one. Tamron just came out with their version and has a tri-pod mount for an extra 129.00 and it's 100.00 more than the Sigma. I have yet to see a bad review of the Sigma.

I have been going to my local VA for more than 10 years. I can't remember being taken care of better at any private hospital. yes, sometimes you have to wait a bit for an appointment but my wait times are never that bad, and it's all free.

nothing wrong with the bundle lenses, but I would rather buy just the body and pick the lens that I would need and not what come in the bundle.

my biggest concern is the warranty as in none. say you buy a grey market Nikon lens and it comes with a one year seller warranty. the lens has a problem so you send it back to the seller for repair. who does the repair since Nikon wants no part of it?

c'mon guys, he wants a new camera. if we upgraded only when we absolutely had to, Canon, Nikon, and all the others would be out of business.

a salute to your dad. every time I go to the VA the one thing I enjoy is talking with the WWII vets. the Marines who fought on the Islands made Viet Nam seem like kids play.

I had a Lumix FZ1000. it's an awesome camera with it's larger 1" sensor. not to good for macro. but great for everything else.

I have a Sigma 105mm os macro for sale. like brand new. comes with everything including original box. since I no longer need them, I am including a variable neutral density filter, a cpl and a +3 close up filter. all 62mm for the lens. not the best made filters (Vivitar). but hey, their free. 425.00.

I have the Tamron 16-300 on my D7200 for my walk around lens and I love it. for more reach I just took delivery of a sigma 100-400.

probably my old age, but I think any dslr that is any color other than black looks like a kids toy. I know they work the same way, but they just don't look right to me. silver, maybe, but the others colors, no thanks.
