Tamron 18-400mm lens

A have a canon 5D mark lll Will the new Tamron 18-40mm lens work on my full frame camera. Everything I can find out is they just keep talking about APS-C camera's. Thank you all.

The 18-400 is designed as a crop frame lens - you can use it but may have to crop out vignetting

I don't know about Canon, but a Nikon D810 will, with a menu selection, present the crop image in the viewfinder to prevent framing issues. Personally, I think you'd get better performance with an 18-300 full frame lens like Sigma's.

28-300 tamron is for dull frame 18-400 is for crop

The Sigma 18-300mm lens is definitely NOT a full frame lens.

I just got the Sigma 100-400. full frame at 699.00. read nothing but great reviews.
