Thoughts?

Are you referring to the business of taking photographs or the business of selling photography? They are both "photography businesses".

Interesting. We purchase Trader Joe's Greek olive oil made from Chemlali or Kalmata olives and labeled "organic." What are the odds these fall into your questionable category and how do you counterfeit olive oil? Is it actually from some other vegetable or animal?

I have read that the cheap olive oil's sold are made using the left over ingredients that come from the cold press process. Apparently the "leftovers" are not what gives the benefit in olive oil.

Buy the cheapest olive oil you can find. Worldwide, olive oil is one of the most counterfeited foods because there it is very profitable. Although there are laws in Italy against adulterated olive oil, and there are frequent arrests, there are no real laws in the USA to protect us from phony olive oil. Find the smallest, most expensive bottle of it on a shelf, and it will have "Italy," "virgin," and "cold pressed" on the label. There is no reason to believe that any of that is true.

The south of Italy is famous for two things: olive oil and the mafia. The mafia makes millions of dollars a year making and selling what they call olive oil.

I am one of those people that has been "hooked" on having my morning 2 tablespoons of olive oil on my breakfast cereal for good health reasons. I ran this past my doctor and he agreed that it can probably help and not hurt. As far as quality is concerned . . . I will only buy "virgin" and or "cold pressed" and only Trader Joe's brand or Costco's Kirkland brand. I believe there is something to this "good talk" about the Meditteranean diet that includes using much olive oil in their cooking.

Our local school district was offered $8.3 million for twenty-two electric buses and peripherals. They declined the offer. There was too much to do to meet the requirements and provide charging facilities. A fire that couldn't be extinguished was another concern. I think it's just as well.

It's difficult for me to understand. Sorry.

Gorgeous photo of a bobcat. I have always wanted to have a tame one raised from a kitten to be my pet cat. But I do understand why they should remain wild in the woods and NOT be domesticated by man.

I pay $50.00 for a synthetic blend oil change in my 2002 Honda Civic at the shop I use & paid $14.00 each to have them replace the windshield wipers. I went to a local Honda dealer to get a new master key because all I got with the car was a valet key. The dealer charged me $212.00. I work at Batteries Plus Bulbs. We sell that same key for $107.00. Most dealers are a rip off.

Welcome to the club. As you say many dealers are a rip off. I also drive a late model Honda Accord. My way is to always try to get the full price of anything I want them to do up front. If this price does not satisfy me I will take the car somewhere else. I take my Honda to my local dealer with whom I have a good 15 year relationship and we know each other and they take good care of me. When I bought this same car new I wanted to buy it from this same dealer . . . however they wanted almost $4,000. more than my purchase price I finally bought the car from a small town dealer about 40 miles from here. But I still use my local dealer service department without a problem.

This also happens to me with regularity. They are so persistent sometimes that I am forced to stop dealing with them at some point. Very annoying.

I run into this also. If I have not yet received the item I ordered . . . I send the seller a reply pointing out that I cannot evaluate this transaction until it is completed. If they keep "bugging" me before the transaction is completed I let them know this too . . . in a nice way of course. I'm guessing that sometimes the left hand is not aware of what the right hand is doing at the seller end. Should be simple.

I regret that none of the cell phone manufacturers have tried to add a small viewfinder that works on the long side of the camera . . . and also a small usable shutter exposure button on this same side. Yes it may make the cell phone a little wider . . . but I think it would still easily fit in my pants pocket.

Yeah, another $22 a month for something I had for free. $22 X 12 = $264, when I used to pay nothing to watch and record. I can't even record with my own DVR now.

Unfortunately this seems to be the present and future of much business today. What can we do about it?

Many think that series of Jaguars were possibly "the most beautiful cars ever designed". I am one of them. Who could disagree with that?
