I have a request. In March my Grand daughter was full term still born. My daughter in law has decided that her spirit is a beautiful black and yellow Monarch. I was wondering if anyone had a picture of one that I can print into like an 18" picture to frame for her. I would like to get one printed and framed for a Christmas gift. Thanks in advance.

Tom

Can't answer on the Onone software, but why not use the adjustment brush in LR to select the area you want to sharpen. You can selected multi spots and apply different setting to each one. A hint click the letter "O" shows the mask area as you are painting just like photoshop.

I use hot shoe adapter with the pc connector. Make sure you get one that has 1/4 20 tripod adapter hole. That way you can attach flash to light stands and tripods to get it off the camera

I also have a cintiq and carry a wacom when traveling and need to edit. Once you get comfortable with the tablets they are faster and you can work more accurately. I have know a number of people complain about tablets they have to learn how to use them. The best way I found was once you attach a table un-attach your mouse forcing you to learn how to use it.

yes, i have heard of model mayhem but i think they require that you submit 3 photos of 3 different models that you've shot & from those, they judgewhether or not they will allow you into membership.

hello there fellow hogs. hope all are well. listen, i don't know if it's me, or the fact that so many people have cameras now on their phones or what but i find it sooooo difficult to find anybody who's willing to pose for portraits!! and i'm talkin' for free too, i don't charge. i just enjoy shooting & quite frankly , i don't feel like i'm at a skill level where it would be fair to charge. is it just me? what can i do to improve my chances? i just hate it when they say, "oh, i don't photograph well". thank you all for reading my post & for any help or suggestions you may have.

i am not sure if you know about this site, but it is called model mayhem. http://www.modelmayhem.com/ you can setup a free account and you can search for models in your local area or surrounding area. a lot will work for trading for photos, some want money, and some in my opinion should not be on there. you may want to take a look.

fotogk, There are several options in the format box and then there is erase in the lower right hand corner. I used that option since I didn't know which (if any) of the format options I should choose.

Format ms-dos(fat) this is the old pc version of format which all camera should be able to read then use the camera to reformat

MT, I can't find a way to format the card in my Mac. Do I have to shoot an image or two, then download them and have the computer delete the images for me?

Also, I purchased the cards through Amazon and they came in individual clear cases but no SanDisk packaging.

No - don't format with the Mac, use the camera to format the card. The Mac does not know about the directory structure that the camera will need.

I have to agree with MT as long as you reformat the card with the camera after you formatted it with the computer.

To format with a Mac insert card open the application disk utility select card from left hand screen select erase.

what you might want to try. Take the image through nik silver effects pro to create a b&w, then layer mask that and bring back the color of the water and boats. the foreground snow and trees and background mountain has a black & white look in the original.
