Help identifying PocketWizard adapter needed for Speedlite 430EX II

I was gifted with two Pocket Wizard Plus II transceivers by a friend of mine that was upgrading her equipment. I have a Canon Speedlite 430 EX II flash unit. She gave me some cables with the transceivers, but my flash unit does not have a connection for the cables.

From what I have seen on the internet, I need some sort of hot shoe adapter to be able to connect the pocket wizard to my speedlite, but I cannot find the adapter itself, even when I went to the Pocket Wizard website. One article I found said "you will need a $20 adapter to connect your 430 EX II to the pocket wizard" but it did not name the adapter or provide a link of any sort to a resource to purchase it.

Is anybody familiar with this adapter needed for the 430 EX II to be able to connect to the pocket wizard? I have to believe I must be calling it the wrong thing when I try my searches on the net because I am not finding it (searched using hot shoe adapter for pocket wizard, etc.)...before I contact Pocket Wizard support thought I would try the folks here for any advice.

If this doesn't work out for me you may well see my next posting in the for sale section - two Pocket Wizard Transceivers, cheap. :D

Thanks All!

You might check out these folks:

I have never bought from them but a friend sent me the site when I was looking for a hotshoe (or maybe its called a coldshoe).
I don't see any hotshoes here but they have pocket wizard connectors.

Hot shoe to PC adapter is what you need.

I use hot shoe adapter with the pc connector. Make sure you get one that has 1/4 20 tripod adapter hole. That way you can attach flash to light stands and tripods to get it off the camera

If they don't work, I'll be the first in line to buy your Pocket Wizards cheap! Unfortunately, I know that they will work. Great find, and have fun! The only real issue is that now you'll want one more off-camera flash...and maybe one more...

Belle , Im pretty sure the pocket wizards will not work on your set up , so please send them to me , If I find they work on my 430 then I will return the wizards in a timely manner , lets say 2 or 3 years is that fair ?

Belle 44, I had the same problem when I bought my Pocket wizards for my flash (same one you have). I had to invest in a pre-trigger remote cable that must fit the remote button on your camera. I bought one for my Canon 7D, and it works great, but it's a bit expensive for a cable: 50-70 bucks online. But it's worth the cost. Good luck.

Belle44, belay my last. As I think about your question, it was about connecting the PW to the flash...which won't fly as the 430 doesn't have the plug in for it. In my 7D I don't need it since I have wireless flash on it. I'll keep the PWs for other flashes or as a remote trigger. Sorry for the confusion.

I have an ST-E2 wireless for off shoe flash remote.
It works with both my 430EX and 580EX.
