If it's anything like canon's 85 1.8 ssc you will love it. I used
it for candids for weddings. Nothing better.
I agree it does look like a Harrier. I used to go to Bombay Hook as a kid right along the migratory bird route, great place.
Please let us how you make out? I am considering the same as soon as the Soc Secur COLA comes through.
You guys are blowing smoke up your arses! You purchased a lens and are trying to justify it. I recommend the gentleman borrow a lens and see for himself.
I also agree on the 16-35. It is a hell of a lens. But your format may lead you to the 10-18 which is a fine lens also.
I can't thank you enough for your advice!
Thank you for your valued advice.
I some how got a scratch on my 77mm Canon polarizer, it's about a quarter inch long. Will have an effect on future pictures? I appreciate your wisdom.
Thank you very much for your valued points!
How sharp is the Canon 100-400 L II? I have the latest version of the 70-200 2.8 and a 1.4 extender, is the 100-400 worth the investment? I appreciate your responses. Thank you.
I agree on the Canon 200mm L, it is a beautiful lens. Not as versatile as the 70-200 zoom, but light and great to use. Good luck with your decision.
Just be careful of lens size on Canon 7D ll, 24-70 is a nice size but the difference on full format and cpas may change your perspective. See if you can borrow this lens and try out the prospective. Good luck.
I am so sorry for your experience with Nasty. You are so correct about being a phographer and not an equipment collector. The advances in cameras have opened phtography to so many. Happy shooting! My brother was an airborne ranger in that war.
I too had a Pentax. I will always remember those sharp Takumar lenses
I agree, I purchased a refurb 5D lll from Cametta, never a problem and a very fine camera. If you want to buy new B&H is a safe bet, but wait for Canon rebates to soften price. The best of luck!
