Thinking of buying the FUJI X100V. Those who have used or bought this camera would you recommend it? Looking for a very good camera for simple everyday use. Easy to carry.

Nice looking camera but with one HUUUUUUUUUUUGE draw back for this shaky old man. No IS.

The only place where they seem to be available now is Amazon. Does anyone have a trusted source for an in stock camera?

Does Canon actually make em anymore? I don't even see them mentioned at all on the Canon webpage. New used or refurbished nowhere to be seen???

The part that amazes me the most is that Facebook will ban/suspend people for comments they make but won't patrol these types of pretty obvious ripoff ads. Perhaps the money they make from allowing these to be posted blinds them to the potential ripoffs. In some ways, I think this makes them complicit.

Mine wasn’t real sharp. Sony 100-400 with 1.4 TC is better. The Sport model is supposed to better. IMHO

And both are a heap more money.

What do you think of this multipurpose lens? Is it worth it or are they trying to take on too much?

I bought an 18-400 for Nikon last summer. Had a lot of issues with auto focus. Constant hunting and frequent blurred images at the 400 end. I sent it back and won't be buying another. As to the 16-300 I know nothing.

Need help - looking for those who had used it and changed and those who are using it now. Happy or?

I have two Olympus Cameras an M5 and a M1 MKII. I would have to admit the Olympus is an easier camera to tote around and has somewhat better IS than my Pentax K-70 or full frame Canon along with features like focus bracketing which my other cameras do not have. The image quality however is no better the DSLR's. The #1 reason the Olympus is not my go to camera is their menu system. A real handful to master especially for an old coot such as me. I do not need to carry a manual with the big guys.

Be careful when using these manual makers. Ask questions as to how durable their product is. I bought three about two years ago and they are falling apart. The plastic spirals are too small in diameter and the pages are coming apart. I leave them in my bags just in case I am out and about and can't remember (happening more and more often these days) how something works particularly with the menus on the Sony and Olympus cameras.

Hello, If anyone has a user manual for the Sony RX10-III, I would be interested in purchasing it.....thanks

I do not think Sony publishes or has someone else publish users manuals. They do have a downloadable version though. It is not a book however just a PDF file I believe.

I bought "Photographer's Guide to the Sony DSC-RX10 IV" and I like it a whole lot. It is available at most online booksellers both new and used and on EBAY. Prices vary.

Enjoy.

I might have if they'd made it with an articulating screen.

I agree. So far I really haven't seen the $2000 WOW. I have a K-70 and a K-5 and without the articulating LCD I think I will pass for now.

Not bad. Offer a product which you do not have at a huge discount (which has an ending date) and when you finally get the item whine to those that took the bait that the discount no longer applies.

The lesson here to to insure the price is firm for whatever time it takes to get your order and if the seller will not do it then do not expect to get the reduced price. I ordered a video cam eight months ago from B&H and never got anything but an occasional email update. Ultimately bought one from from another vendor in January who had it in stock for the price I expected.

I no longer put anything on a wait list. I do not have to be the first one on the block to get something. But that is me and if someone feels differently, for whatever reason to do otherwise, it is your money and your right to take that avenue. Remember though that the seller is not looking out for your interests only theirs.

Did you maybe accidentally click "submit" twice?

I've never had a problem ordering from them.

I ordered something twice a while back from EBAY and almost immediately got a message that I had ordered the same item once already. I did have to go back and spend some time figuring out how to cancel an order but I was successful in the end. I would think that any online store would have a routine catching duplicate orders before shipping. If duplicate orders are placed within a certain time frame chances are it is an error somewhere. If the buyer wanted more than one there is usually a quantity box available where that would be expressed.

All that being said B&H is doing more harm in disputing this mixup than any monetary gain is worth. IMHO B&H should have immediately either offered to accept a no charge return and a refund. Standing their ground and instead "looking into it" is a crappy way to run a railroad.

This was shot through a fence with manual spot focus. The cloudy horizontal lines are actually the fence wires.

Neither. Learn to use manual focusing. If the camera works fine when you’re not near the fence, it’s not the camera.

I couldn't agree more. Learning to focus manually can improve your results immensely.
