Yes, the Sony lenses are heavy! Thank you everyone for your input. Some great advice there. I will have to do more research. However recently I went looking for wild horses and used my Canon! I had to be quick and didn’t touch the Sony at all for fear of missing the shots. I did use the Sony at a friends Iris garden and the detail on the photos are astounding handheld! The only conclusion I can come to safely is that this is a great hobby. I have printed and sold at smaller art shows 13x19 being the largest.
Thanks for all your advice, it will be fun shopping!

Hi All, I have a huge dilemma after doing a lot of research on the Sony A7lll and the Fuji XT-3! The main difference for me is the touch screen. I just cannot be quick with the Sony, I borrowed one, and found it absolutely mind boggling to change the settings. As I am a Canon shooter I found the Fuji easier. The reason for a mirrorless is that I need to carry it while hiking here in the Sierras, I just find the Canon too heavy. I realize the Sony is a full frame and the Fuji is an APSC. Would appreciate any thoughts to help me decide. Thanks in advance.

Adorama on the whole seems to deliver quicker than B&H, though my Sony A7lll arrived fast from B&H, but it took 7 days for the CPL to arrive. So it just depends on when and how it was shipped and on the carrier. I do find Adorama quicker, usually 3 days from NY to CA.

Has anyone used it on the Sony A7lll? I read an article on it that said not to use it on a Sony A7lll. Can’t remember the reason for it, will have to look for it.

How does the strap shot compare to Peak Design, Spyder etc. I’m thinking of getting one of these for my backpack.

Hi, I needed a mirrorless lightweight camera for hiking and I was all set to get the Fuji XT 20. Then I saw some photos from the new Canon 100-400 lens and I was hooked! I have a 70D and I might get the 80D. But I really need a light camera! I photograph animals in the wild and in their natural habitat and may go on a trip to India soon and I would love to take the 100-400 lens for wild life, but have to sacrifice the Fuji. Can't do both! So I need some help to decide what to do. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am looking to get this FF camera. I'd like some info on it. It's between this and Canon. I was also looking at the Sony A7 RIii, and this has good reviews and it less expensive.

I've used PS and other tools, but it never comes out this clean. Thanks.

Hi, will you be going to any of the tiger sanctuaries? If you are, you will need a long lens, 70-300 perhaps.
India is a very colorful place and you’ll have a great time taking street pictures of people and buildings. A wide angle would also be handy.
Have a great time.

Hi, I am thinking of getting a mirrorless camera and saw this deal on the Fuji XT-20 with 2 lenses, XC 16-50 and XC50-230 with the XT 20 metal grip for $1200. I am a hiker and am thinking of going lighter. I have a Canon 70D with lenses, but find it too heavy carrying up mountain slopes! I love the camera, but just too heavy! So my first preference would be the Sony A7Rll, but it is expensive, lenses and all. Fuji is my next choice. I'm an intermediate photographer wanting to go mirrorless and light. Am hoping for some advice here so I can decide if I should get the Fuji XT-20, or just wait till the Sony drops in price!
Thanks for your advice in advance!

While trying to organize LR i noticed that my exported image date and time to not match my imported file date and time. Why is this?
And when I say don't match they are not even close. Example import file showed 4/13/13 9:56:20 AM Export showed 9/22/15 1:23:05 PM.
How do I fix this?

My number count just went over 9999 so now I have to deal with that on import.

If this doesn't belong here let me know. thanks

Hi, A photographer friend came over and we figured out the reason why the files went under another date and year! When you import from a card make sure that your pictures are going into your users/your name/Pictures, which is on the upper right hand corner.(Or whichever file you choose on your HD) Somehow another file was showing up and all the pics were going under that! Once I changed it by clicking on the up and down button to the correct Users folder, everything is back to normal! Duh! Silly mistake, but you do have to check that on import!
